OddSox Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Do you think there was a strategy to calling the vote for the Tuesday following Thanksgiving? Will the voters 'tune out' while doing the family feasting, or will there be record numbers of domestic disturbances? If they tune out, will they even bother to vote on Tuesday, or will there be too many turkey hangovers? Quote

Advance polling was down from previous elections. I also think that the LPC supporters, which have always been harder to turn out than the CPC supporters, are probably disenchated with Dion and resigned to a minority CPC government. One thing the CPC can count on is getting the votes out to the polls. The wildcard will be the lefty voters. One, if they get out. Two, how much effect strategic voting has. Quote
