KrustyKidd Posted February 17, 2004 Report Share Posted February 17, 2004 STORY OF SOLDIER SHOT IN FACE WHILE ALONE IN QUARTERS IN AFGANISTAN I make no judgement on the soldier here as he was shot through the chin with the bullet commng out in the cheekbone. A freind asked me what I thought. I said I did not know as accidents happen. I read the story and was undecided until I read this: While discussing the possibility of a suicide attempt, Tremblay said soldiers face a screening process to ensure they are mentally fit. The article I read said more about Colonel Tremblay's quote, how 'each soldier is interviewed by a social worker or phsycologist before they leave Canada.' I put my trenchcoat on and paced the room with my pip (Clouseauspeak for pipe) and figured that if it were an accident, Colonel Tremblay would have said: While discussing the possibility of a suicide attempt, Tremblay said "Not a chance, this man was well adjusted and was the morale booster for all the camp. Matter of fact, he had been recently talking about how he was looking forward to (insert some happy activity) Instead, Colonel Tremblay gives us a disclaimer.
