The most discouraging thing is that western countries calling themselves “civilized and democratically developed” have managed to quickly transform a small peaceful state in the Caucasus engaged in producing of wine mainly into a military monster just! Weapons from NATO countries and postcommunist ones have been pouring into Georgia in huge quantities during recent several years. This could be done only in case of USA nod. USA also made huge financial donations into Georgia to make her ready for NATO membership. And Georgian president showed his readiness to fight …. kids and aged people in South Ossetia! I guess Saakashvili started war just to prove that readiness and to prove he is worth the “invested American money”.
