Roksana Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 Well, most of my Ukrainian friends, who as well as my family had to leave our native Ukraine and to remove into Canada in dark 90s, are glad to see how actively relations of special partnership between Ukraine and Canada are developing now. We were ready to express special thanks to present Ukrainian President V. Yuschenko for his clear position on such important issue of our Ukrainian history as Famine of 1932/33, which was defined during his recent official visit to Canada. Certainly Canadian state leadership and the whole Canadian people (among which there are a lot of Ukrainians now) has hurried to support Yuschenko’s efforts, directed to international condemnation of this ghastly tragedy, which has happened in Ukraine 75 years before. Right after Yuschenko’s departure Canadian Parliament at the next meeting of its House of Commons adopted a special resolution, corroborated the statement, which was made by official authorities of Canada in this matter during the last visit of Ukrainian leader in Ottawa. And what I’ve known now… It develops that while Mr. Yuschenko has tried to prove to the world community that the tragedy of 1932/33 famine was an act of genocide of our Ukrainian nation, mass unannounced immunization in Ukraine has taken the shape of a true genocide in present-day Ukraine! You see, due to UOH data the use of the same Indian measles-rubella vaccine, which applies now on the territory of Ukraine with silent assent of Ukraine’s President and Health Ministry of this country, has led to total high mortality among children in early age during its application in Africa. This vaccine is prohibited in EU countries because of such dangerous consequences as weakening the immune system, mass allergic responses. It is also necessary to refrain from pregnancy during 4 months after this vaccination! But all Ukrainians know nothing about this danger! And what is it, if not a planned biological genocide against own people, Mr. Yuschenko? To all seeming the death of a teenager in the Donetsk region is only the beginning of your illegal experiments over own nation in Ukraine… Quote
Rue Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 (edited) With utmost respect, I am not sure if you help your case or argument by missappropriating the holodomor. If you do have an argument or concern about immunization can you not make that argument without dettracting from the holodomor? By taking it out of context and using it for your present issue of concern, you devalue the meaning of the holodomor whether that was your intention or not. The Holodomor is a specific and unqiue tragedy and should be referenced with respect and reverence..at least I think. As for your concerns, may I respectfully suggest ou stick to the medical facts and you might find it a more effective way to persuade people. Edited June 5, 2008 by Rue Quote
HisSelf Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 I too would like to see more on this but I agree with Rue that your linking to the Holomodor is specious. If this is true, it appears to be a pharmaceutical story. Do you have anything to back it up? Quote ...
