Carinthia Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 A while back I walked into a McDonalds to pick up an egg mcmuffin. I noticed that the teenagers who were preparing food, were not wearing gloves. I asked the manager, who was standing right there, why they weren't and he said "we have frequent handwashing policies, at least 4 times per shift". I told him that I was not comfortable with teenagers handling my food while not wearing gloves and left the store. I've raised young teens, and I know that diligence about anything is hit and miss in their world. Quote

Never be overly concerned with what you can see, but be concerned what you cant. Ever eaten in a Kelseys/Montanas/Swiss Chalet/Outback/Ponderosa/ ? One cannot see the line cooks . Lots of hands touch your food all the time. How many times have you been sick? It never astonishes me the thoughts some have about washing hands. (Not you only carinthia) Quote
