Moxie Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 LOL check out this criminal whining because the police never shot him before when he engaged them in high speed chases. We've had several deaths due to car thieves engaging the police in highspeed chases. I like the new policy; shoot them before they kill innocents. I'm so tired of the criminals screaming VICTIM, victim victim. It's nice to see one get his comeuppance. Snippet: "Every other time that I've been chased, it's never been like that. I can see if I got shot because they had to stop me because I was too erratic, but I didn't even begin being erratic and was already shot," he said. Wilber Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Do you think anyone will figure out that a big reason he is such an asshole is because of how well he was treated the 30 other times? Probably not. Quote "Never trust a man who has not a single redeeming vice". WSC
Moxie Posted November 2, 2007 Author Report Posted November 2, 2007 LOL Wilber I love your rebuttals, even when you are serious you and Dancer make me laugh out loud. Yea he's a grade A arsehole like many of the punks that roam our streets these days. I hope his pain is something fierce. AngusThermopyle Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Poor muffin, 30 charges and he whines about his treatment. Too bad it was the leg and not the head. Of course we'll have the usual crowd screaming about his dignity and inhumane treatment. Personally I don't give a sh*t how they treat him. He's 21 years old and already a star player in the criminal system. I wonder if he can be rehabilitated in a kind and gentle way? Quote I yam what I yam - Popeye
luvacuppajoe Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 Ahh, the proverbial fox, complaining that he got pecked all night after being caught in the henhouse. "DeYoung's mother said she would be filing a complaint against police on her son's behalf." I wonder if this has much of a bearing on his perceived victim status? "Every other time that I've been chased, it's never been like that. I can see if I got shot because they had to stop me because I was too erratic, but I didn't even begin being erratic and was already shot," he said. If I didn't know any better I would think he's implying that there's some benefit to the idea of criminal deterrence -- I thought I could get away with it because I did 30 times before. Quote
RedDaVinci Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 To think that this man has anything to complain about is a joke. He has been indiscriminately endangering the lives of innocent people more than once when one time is clearly already too much. If you don't act in a society in a civilized manner, why should anybody bother to be civil to you? Quote

Because we only have the moral advantage when we act with reasonable force. Let's not become the trash we want locked up. That said, this seemed reasonable. SVTman Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 that as got to be the most retarded thing i have ever seen. i would ask why if he has done this 30 times in the pastwhy on earth he is out on the streets at all. i say he deserves everything he got and more if for nothing else but for being so freaking stupid. RedDaVinci Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Because we only have the moral advantage when we act with reasonable force. Let's not become the trash we want locked up.That said, this seemed reasonable. Reasonable force... What exactly is reasonable when we're talking about a reckless person who has several times endangered the lives of others and gotten away with it? You'd change your tune if he got lucky and killed one or two people on his way. I just see life endangerment as being separated into two outcomes-- somebody gets killed, or somebody gets nearly killed. The difference is pure chance. Quote
AngusThermopyle Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 (edited) This guy reminds me of the case in Toronto where a fellow was out to get another guy and ended up shooting the guys 3 year old daughter in the head, killing her. After he was sentenced his mother was outside the court house ranting about what a good boy he was and how he'd been railroaded because he was black. Kinda makes you wonder just what he'd have to do before his mother would consider him a bad boy doesn't it? Edited November 10, 2007 by AngusThermopyle Quote I yam what I yam - Popeye

That honestly sounds like an interesting case to follow up on. Do you have any more details? A news link? Quote
