I am a left wing person residing in Saskatchewan and have never voted for the provincial NDP. Why? Well I think its a joke of a party, full of members that are narrow minded and has no clue what Saskatchewan residents want. They base their campaigns on polls instead of coming up with new ideas themselves. In the last election, which they lost(big surprise, this is sarcasm), they based their campaign on this free perscription drug plan, which is good for seniors, but come on, it is clear that no one in the NDP did their homework about Saskatchewan. The largest age demographic in Saskatchewan is 20-24, followed by 25-29. Anyone can do the math on this one. The Saskatchewan NDP needs to wake up, elect a leader who isn't slouching all the time and has some charisma! Protect the environment, fix the labor shortage, fix the highways(we have too many and that's why they are garbage), help the farmer, tax the upper class, not the middle and lower classes, who in Saskatchewan pay the highest compared to anywhere else in Canada. I can't see the NDP winning an election until some of its members give their heads a shake or even step down. What are others opinions on this?
