  1. I find it "funny" that we have to live with the decision, but the seperatist/socialist coalition does't have to "live with OUR decision made just a couple of months ago.
  2. I agree we just elected a Conservative minority government. But if the opposition has lost confidence than they should go to the people for power, not the GG. also I think things may have changed substantially, not so much in the last month and a half, but in the last hour and a half.
  3. I am going to state this again Harper doesn't have the authority to call an election, that is the GG's job. She probably has difficulty calling an election when the seperatists/socialist coalition is offering to govern without the consent of the people. Clearly it is the coalition that doesn't want to go to the people, COWARDS for sure. They are the ones who can chose to go to the people, not Harper.
  4. Harper doesn't have the ability to call an election, thats the GGs' job, but since the seperatist/socialist coalition is offering to govern without the consent of the people, i'm not sure what the GG will do.
  5. I think the Conservatives were only 11 seats short of a majority, they wouldn't have to win a "massive" amount of seats in Quebec to reach 154
  6. I would expect more seats everywhere including Quebec, but also Toronto. Now that Canadians can see a crystal clear choice between a Seperatist/Socialist coalition lead by the worst performing Liberal leader in history, or the Conservative government I am confident in the outcome. The oppsition parties aren't confident in the outcome or they would go to the people.
  7. If the Liberals, ndp, and Seperatists had the courage to run on their coalition platform, The Consevatives would probably get the ever elusive 51%. But they don't want to go to the people do they?
  8. Sounds good. Let the Liberals, NDP, and Seperatists run on the coalition platform, and the Conservatives will probably get that elusive 50%. Has anybody ever got 51%?
  9. I hope the GG forces the losing parties to go to the people for confidence. Ofcourse they don't want to do that because they are afraid of the voters
  10. I would expect more than the 37% will remember this. There must be some voters who supported other parties must be embarrassed by this display. They cannot be proud of their parties actions
  11. I certainly hope they never forget this
  12. I just seen Ignatieff, Ray and Leblanc, together declaring their support for Dion as the Prime Minister of the new seperatist/socialist coalition
  13. Was it acceptable for the Liberals to govern as though they had a "majority" for 11 or 12 years when on average 60% of Canadians voted against them.
  14. It is true that the Conservatives did not recieve 50% of the votes. But 37% is less than 2% short of one of the Liberals "majority" governments, and with 3 so called "majorities" in a row the Liberals never came close to 50%, as I recall they never got over 42%. Were you Liberal mathmaticians complaining then. You lost the election get over it.
  15. Your policy seems to be anti-American only. It's alright for an Austrian to be president of the U.S. , but not for an American to be PM of Canada, would a Austrian PM be okay. I personally believe that you should be born in Canada, and hold only Canadian citizenship, to be PM.
