Over zealous arrest whereby they sat on his neck.I'm a little confused here. What is the theory as to how the guy died that would lead to such charges? If he died in the back of the van due to falling or twisting his neck or something then their only crime, it would seem, is that they didn't do up his seatbelt, as called for in a memo distributed a few days earlier.
Then they dragged him to the van.
Next they threw him in the van, couple that with no restraints of the body in the van and the ride itself (with the above in play) could further damage the man.
And apparently, the van stopped for an half hour somewhere but we do not know yet .
I have to be careful, I read this earlier and dont really know the veracity of it, but thats what I read.

I'll third it.I second that emotion.
Motion issued.

That is incorrect I believe. A child under age 7 is supposedly free from liability but over that age a tort action on a child is measured by the maturity of the child . If he has it , a judglement can be rendered. In practical terms, children are not legally liable if they're under 12.
Each one is its own measure.
At all times until 18 they parents are responsible, or at least legally liable. It's not unreasonable to insist that they're accompanied by someone who takes legal responsibility for their actions.

I'll take stfu for $1000 Alex.

Says the guy who made up all kinds of facts without even a shred of evidence.I never called you a liar but you have proven that you provide information that does NOT back your allegations. What you did was take information and misrepresent it as making conclusions you did which it did not. People can read what you quoted to see you have no statistics to back up what you claimed and for that matter the info you provided does not back up what you say.
Lol. But please keep going,
So transparent it isnt even funny.

Ok.I do not believe that law enforcement officers kill people as a routine.
I dont.I believe most are good people, many of whom enter that career with the intent of helping others.
Most of them seem to enjoy the power grab they suddenly have. Those who dont soon learn how much fun it is. Ever notice all the glad handing after a chase?
It is? Where?Being a policeman is still a respected position in society.
Dont confuse being given respect since they can and do F up ones life on a whim versus a respect that is earned for good work.
89 per 100 citizens , Canada 30 .I also believe that the major problem in the USA is the ease with which one can get a gun. It is estimated that there are about 300 million guns out in the public in the USA. That translates into 1 gun for every man, woman and child.
Sure do, sometimes even dumbass Sheriff's allow for a 72 yr old feeble man be a play sheriff at times. Allow him to pull over people while being wholly untrained to do so.Under those conditions, when the bullets fly very easily and very quickly, mistakes happen often.
And sometimes these old idiots mistake a stun gun for a firearm.
No problem there.

Wait a sec, thats impossible, we have our own reknowned expert pontificating that...All six cops involved are going to be charged in connection with Gray's death.
How could that be???Update: Medical report states that Gray suffered injury in the police van, corroborating the report that he was trying to injure himself.
-
There is one surefire way of achieving that.Anything to reduce the incessant whining about "trolls" is definitely an improvement.
-
Whatever the hell they want it to be.What do you think is the role and responsibility of former Canadian Prime Ministers?
-
8000 words and he still doesnt get it.Right. Report you for not knowing that Duffy was a Senator.
Its not a matter of opinion as he says, its fact. Water is wet....and he would debate that ad naseum.

Only one, CanadaI do not believe that there are any "losers" to this contest.
What professionals? This is free advertising for professionals in the field and budding artists.
Thats the problem here, its low grade artwork worthy of someones fridge...someone they call Mom.

We do know there are more white kids than black. So one could easily postulate that the numbers should reflect that truism and then we could break it down further if you wish.Cybercoma there are no statics that show the reason more black youth or blacks are arrested is that they are over policed. Or that because a youth is white they are not arrested. You made that up.
The stats show this huh? Where? I dont see any. What the statistics we do have and show is that black youth are more likely to be unemployed. As a result they are more likely to be out on the street at all hours of the day and night and because of that more likely to be publically visible particularly late at night and so more likely to be noticed by police.
When you do post , dont forget to include the stats that show these unemployed black kids are on the streets versus the unemployed white kids (which are multi times more than blacks) who are probably inside studying to be better.
Jeebus.....
Let me use your own wors here.So its a vicious cycle and it directly relates to unemployment not over policing. In fact black communities complain they are under policed and budget cuts prevent sufficient neighbourhood policing, i.e., the ability to put cops on the street walking which is the best method to avoid arresting black youth.
"You made that up."
When white owners of nice cars start complaining then you may have something, but what you posted is a crock of baloney. No links...you made it up.
Where it gets attention is when young black men driving cars get stopped. Their crime often is having a nice car.
Hey, why not suspend everyones right mr lawyer? If they have no record and they have done nothing its a piss off and they are victims of profiling yes. That same unfair profiling can also be pro active policing and bring in a fugitive.
Make it legal for cops to walk in your house anytime? Lets see, you say black kids are pissed off cuz they get pulled over for nothing yet its good sine a fugitive might get arrested.
Of all the people here, your background etc......."Papers please"....should be denounced since history has shown us why its bad.
And yet, strangely you like it.
Yea...lets remind you of your positions on this board. The black community is not uniform. Blacks from African nations where the police are in fact soldiers and brutal have a lack of trust for police no different than whites from war torn countries. West Indian blacks have mixed approaches. On the one hand Jamaican Canadian youth for example are stereotyped as hating police, its not necessarily true. Many come from families where their parents work 2,3 jobs and their experience with police in Jamaica is they are black and can beat the crap out of you so you don't go near them. It depends on your country of origin. If you are born in Canada and you are a black youth your ideas on police come from American culture which popularizes gangs and an American black youth identity which distrusts
authority.
Why are you talking for Africans? Youve never been to Africa
Youve never been to Jamaica
Youve never been toWest Indies.
So why are you talking for them?
Good for the goose, good for the gander.Hypocrite.
Its complex. All the stereotypes in the world can be poked and shown to be untrue including anything I said.
Is this so you can back peddle on the rights violations you like to see ? Or is it to cover the immature and unfounded conclusions you come to without ever visiting these places?
.
Wow, got some inflated sense of self here doncha ? My gawd man.....such pomposity.Cyber its not helpful injecting your own personal political views with references to stats that don't exist with due respect. If you actually had some produce them because I doubt they exist.
Oh I doubt that. The stats are there to look up.

Update: Medical report states that Gray suffered injury in the police van, corroborating the report that he was trying to injure himself.
Good lord man, do you even read the damn link you give?
It says nothing of the sort re ; corroborating the report that he was trying to injure himself.
You want to rail on lefties all the time, so is this where I put righties are too stupid to read or cant? Which is it?
Details surrounding exactly what caused Gray to slam into the back of the van was unclear. The officer driving the van has yet to give a statement to authorities. It’s also unclear whether Gray’s head injury was voluntary or was a result of some other action
I enlarged it since righties have a problem with reading and/or comprehension. Is there someone with you that could explain it for you?
And who made the report?
Ahh the wonderful men and women of the ever reliable and very trusted Baltimore Police Dept.

Nothing to debate here. Facts are clear, an MP is not a SenatorActually I'm highlighting and debating our system.
Only you .Absolutely NOTHING WRONG in this debate
-
Yes it is. Not hard to figure out for anyone but you.But referring to an senator as an MP is not wrong either, just not commonly done.
Maybe we can leave it at that and move on?
WWWTT
The facts are there for you to learn. This is not an opinion thing either.
A Senator is NOT an MP .

Babcock is the Gold Standard Coach, globally .
As a head coach he has won a Stanley Cup, World Championship, 2 Olympic Golds, a CIS championship and a W#orld Junior. Nobody else has done that. Surefire Hall of Fame stuff.
yes he is.
And prior to shit show rewarding Edmonton, I would have thought Babcock would highly entertain a move to TO.
But not so much now. Oilers should....should...have a very bright future and I can see why one would sign up there. Now Mrs. Babcock I am not so sure.

As has been explained in the past, people don't agree about what constitutes a troll. You are implying that a troll is being ignored, or undetected, but it's likely that others just don't agree with your assessment.
Change 'others ' to other...as in one for accuracy.
Pretty much all but one agree who trolls and who doesnt. Why? Because the one thinks it funny to see .
The troll isnt being ignored or undetected , its being promoted or encouraged, take your pick

Babcock, Hitchcock and McLellan all on the 'looking for jobs ' list.
Mmmmmmm
I like em all for my team.
Hitch was one I wavered on, but his bosses didnt listen when he said they need goaltending,,,,three years in a row and they lost because of it.
So yeah, Id take him, but we'd need to get a goalie and they are in short supply.

LOL!
You're funny buddy!
Totally ignore the fact that a senator can be a minister or even a PM in Canada!
Duffy has an official seat in Canada's parliament!
Does the GG have the ability to introduce a bill or vote on an bill?
In fact, if you are arguing that a senator IS NOT AN MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT, then you are exhibiting your limited knowledge OF parliament!
The distinction is that Duffy is not an elected member but an senator. Still an MP.
WWWTT
Well....here it is, ignorance on parade. Revel in it I suppose.
I wonder why no link? Could it be....that you know but like to act stupid, or is it not an act?
-
.
Senate is still parliament.
WWWTT
Got a link for that?
Three people have told you how wrong you are. Is there an education problem?
While you are at it, correct this....MP is short for member of parliament. NO it isnt.
An MP (<--note Caps) is for Member of Parliament (<----Note caps once again)
-
Oh my, youve written some doozies , but thats ^ probably the dumbest thing you've ever trolled about.
Dismisses all the social isolation, all the brutality some have suffered at the hands of Police , ignores the social ills that are foisted on those of little means.
Well done and congrats on the achievment

Two, one was the family moved to Virginian from up north in Ontario. The community (Stepford Wives 2.0) came a calling with Pies and treats but soon asked 'what Church will you be attending? '
Huh? What church ? We dont go to Chur.....um we havent had enough time to look around at what is available.
A girl I was dating had been booted from the Jehovahs (if they only knew just how freaky she was) for a lack of attendance at the chruch she went to, cuz its like 100 K away and she lives in TO now?
Anyhow, she knew I didnt believe in god, was ok with that. But when we were about to go meet her folks , uber JWs BTW, she demanded I not say that I dont believe. I told her if they ask then I will reply 'I do got to church'......but hope they dont press for more cuz my anser was to be ...'for weddings and funerals'
Needless to say , the visit never happened and she stopped taking my calls. She had issues about relligion from her folks.
One night when her dad was staying with her (in HER home) I called around 10pm knowing she would be home from another engagement. Her dad answered and demanded to know why a man was calling a single woman at home, let alone this late at night.
Apparently 'free will' and 'being an adult' didnt go over well.

Maybe reasonable to think so, but in actuality it truly isn't. They operate under the same restrictions for the most part.I think it's reasonable to make a distinction between a home business and another kind.
Surprisingly many. And I don't think the question would arise often enough for us to say there is a societal imperative in rejecting some sort of accommodation in that case. How many fundamentalist Christians operate B&Bs from their homes anyway?
And to boot? There is precedent....
....and more....The British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal has fined the owners of a now-closed bed and breakfast $4,500 for refusing to grant a gay couple a reservation in 2009 after learning of their sexual orientation, the Vancouver Sun reports.
Les and Susan Molnar, the former owners of the Riverbend B&B, cited religious reasons for why they wouldn't agree to rent a room to Shaun Eadie and Brian Thomas, who live in Vancouver.
The Molnars tried to argue that the B&B was part of their home, saying they pray there and feel responsible for the behavior of their guests.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/19/canadian-bb-owes-gay-couple-fined-4500_n_1687757.html
This isn't the first time a B&B owner's religious beliefs spilled over into their business practices and was deemed discriminatory. In February, a Christian couple running a bed and breakfast in Cornwall was ordered them to pay a gay couple £3,600, or about $5,600, for refusing them service, the Guardian reported. That couple argued that they wouldn't permit any unmarried couple to stay at their property -- regardless of sexual orientation -- because they believe pre-marital sex to be a sin.
But the author of the judgement for the Equality and Human Right's Commission, which issued the ruling, found that the B&B owners weren't being prohibited from exercising their religious beliefs.
"They are merely prohibited from so doing in the commercial context they have chosen," she wrote.
-
A B&B operating out of a home needs a business licence , a business number from the CRA,a commercial sign permit , a liquor permit if you allow booze on the premises.......like a regular business.False equivalency. Nobody has ever suggested, at least, to my knowledge, that pizzerias shouldn't or wouldn't or should be allowed to refuse service to gays. The only thing I'm ambivalent about in that regard would be something like a B&B, if it were the owner's home.
Some places do not require this, some dont have the manpower to bother.
There really is no diff Argus.

Lets see...
So now you want to change the rules or is there a rule for rue? You make a point of chastising one for not putting in links, the same gets thrown back at you but somehow this results in self entitlement/feeding.
Damn man that is funny. Not that I am laughing 'with' you of course.
What the hell is all this and how does it relate?
Its common sense to understand someone unemployed has more time on their hands and so is more likely particularly when they are youth to be on the streets.
What no one but you seems to be surprised about is that when someone has no job, no career, no future, they hang on the streets, join gangs and get into trouble. Its not rocket science and neither is the corelation to absent fathers, single parent families, poverty, lack of recreational facilities, high population density, poor lighting.
Oh, so is this only for black men/youth or does this include all youth?
What you said is obvious, no one including me denies that unemployed have time on their hands and the streets can be a lure.
Water is wet. Thanks....need a link for that perhaps?
But you knew that and couldnt defend it so now its being mr daddy to us simpletons.
No thanks.
You made this comment:
"Make it legal for cops to walk in your house anytime? Lets see, you say black kids are pissed off cuz they get pulled over for nothing yet its good sine a fugitive might get arrested"
No I did not say the above.
