Saskatchewan, despite more oil than us, has a rapidly-declining population, while we are growing.

I find this interesting because for the most part, Canada's "Black" population is relatively small, especially out west. Winnipeg is starting to receive more Immigrants from African countries, and it is wonderful; the cultural mosaic here is fantastic with such a fine blend of cultures. What amazes me is the pride they have. They do not arrive with much, but the women dress in very colorful dresses, etc, while the men and young boys dress in slacks, and nice sweaters or shirts; amazing! They are so friendly too, and always seem to have a smile!

A serious overhaul of Aboriginal welfare is needed, and rather than yell at the TV when a story about Aboriginals is being broadcasted, people need to discuss it. It is out tax dollars, so we have every right to assert how they should be spent. It is one thing to on occasion see or talk to Aboriginals; it is different when you interact with them everyday because when you do, the few "good ones" for lack of a better term, are few and far between!

Well, I live around many aboriginals, and to be honest, for the most part, they are barbaric. Their social ills seem to be reflected in everyday life. They just do not seem to have an interest in things the majority of us do. For instance, no aboriginal households in my area have a desire for gardening/landscaping. The majority of the homes in my area have occupants who plant flowers, etc. No Aboriginals seem to care about such things. Perhaps it is because they do not own their homes? The woman who lives next door has five children, and she is the most useless b*tch. Her kids stare at us in awe when we plant our flowerbeds, etc. I think a high number of Aboriginals expect to be taken care of by the government, as if it is some lottery.
