  1. Scrib...believe it or not, but you just identified the Kaledonians with the above post. I guess that means that both parties at the blockade were terrorists, by your definition. If that is the case, then the Army needs to take out both groups, correct? Now you are blaming the VICTIMS for terrorism? The Caledonians simply want the ability to travel on a road THEY own. They expect their right to earn a living for their family not to be interfered with. The natives are denying them this right. As a result, they are committing economic terrorism. As a fascist, I say it is time to bring in the Canadian Forces. The mailed fist of fascism would remove such terrorists from Crown lands.
  2. No one has said it isn't your right to say what you wish. Just don't be surprised when someone else finds some of your opinions offensive and says so. That's their right. Whether someone disagrees with my opinion is one thing, whether they challenge my right to say it as youd id is another. I am suprised when someone does not find what I have to say offensive. I try to please. I didn't challenge your right to say it, I challenged the idea that you think you have some kind of right to butt into another country's business. If your idea of trying to please is to tell the citizens of another country what language they should use to sing their national anthem, you are guaranteed to offend someone. Leave the fact you are a Canadian out of it, you do not speak for me. I abhor the obtuse. Who said anything about 'butting in'? They merely state their feelings and opinions on the subject. As everyone knows, it is a very touchy subject since it involves two languages in a single nation. Does not Canada have difficulties with the English/French question? We share similarities with the U.S.A. in this respect. As such, the denizens of this site have EVERY RIGHT to state their opinions. As a fascist Canadian, were it up to me the French version of 'Oh Canada' would cease to exist as would the French language. It is divisive. Look at what the English/Spanish issue is doing to the U.S.A. We need Canada under ONE GOVERNMENT and ONE LANGUAGE. We need order, not chaos which the left loves so very much. It is time to abolish the left.
  3. Do you not see the title of this particular forum on your screen? Does it not say 'CANADA/US RELATIONS?' The very title DEMANDS that Canadians state their opinions otherwise why bother posting within this forum at all? Try to think before you leap next time.
  4. Here goes. Generally, those that seek to attain more than they have, oppress. Especially with power, but money works too. There is a scale, as with most things, that indicates severity. One could be an ordinary supermarket clerk or a corporate/conglomerate head. Both participate in some oppression, to varying degrees. The clerk, as a consumer, is an enabler, the market for oppression, while the conglomerate head directs it through production and marketing. Social factors are indeed big, and one can see how 'greedy conglomerates' generally outsource their efforts to where social oppression is the to the level where profits can, as safely as reasonably possible, be maximized. It used to be, until very recently, presence of the the armies of various countries that secured trade routes and trade goods. Now, in the last 50-60 years, in many places, the local gov't is paid to use their own army to keep those same trade routes and resource ownership in the hands of the same people who took it by force. There is no question in my mind that the Jews have been 'oppressed' (ie:treated unfairly) throughout history. This does not mean that they cannot also oppress. As to the Palestinians, one could ask, "What would have happened to Palestine if the British chose to make Israel somewhere else?" Ah. I knew I would see something about the 'oppressive' British. I should like to advise many individuals to please learn how to read history texts. Britain in no way is responsible for Israel. They did not 'choose' to make Israel out of the former Palestine. You can thank the League of Nations for that. The British were pressured into given up the territory of Palestine which in effect belonged to them by the Americans and the League of Nations who felt guilty about what had happened to the Jews at the hands of the Nazis. I would ask that you all refrain from blaming my people for something the Americans forced onto us. One must also remember that not ALL of Palestine was made into a new Israel, only part of it. The Palestinians did not agree with this so they attacked the new Israelis who ended up victorious and took the Palestinian half away. The Palestinians reaped what they sowed.
  5. Most interesting. I see you are not too fond of NAFTA. One of the most ridiculous statements I have seen would be 'Free Trade legalises (not 'legalizes', we are not Americans) slave labour'. However did you come up with that? You do understand Canada experiences huge trade surpluses thanks to Free Trade yes? As a result, our economy continues to grow at a nice clip although if we were to remove the ridiculous presence of socialism within our business ranks, we could do far better. This is what the left fears hence their desire to make such ridiculous statements as I quoted you uttering earlier. Accept the ideals of fascism and watch Canada's economy grow by leaps and bounds with the shackles of stagnant socialism removed. Canada must NEVER allow ourselves to incorporate with the U.S.A. We have been a sovereign nation and we shall always remain a sovereign nation. I for one cannot condone any plans or even discussion of joining the U.S.A.
  6. That could never happen. Too many Canadians hate the US no matter what. If you were to listen to some of them you would swear that they're not just our neighbor, but also our worst enemy. Others still call them a necessary evil. Nobody wants to admit it, but without the US this socialist's wet dream of a country could not exist as it does. Canada is a socialist country?? News to me. We have adopted some forms of socialist policies but we are NOT a socialist country per se.
