  1. http://www.moral-politics.com/xpolitics.aspx?menu=Home This is a morality based political test. Unlike other political tests that determine your stance on specific political issues and then places you accordingly, this test instead attempts to assess your political leaning by trying to figure out what your "moral stance" on very general issues are and then plots you on a moral matrix to figure out what you political stance is. The idea is is that people hold different political viewpoints that are consistent with their moral viewpoints. I find that the results can be surprisingly accurate, especially given the apparent ambiguity of the constituent questions. Anyhow, here are my results: Short Test: Moral Order: -2 Moral Rules: -6 System: Liberalism Variation: Economic Liberalism Ideologies: Progressive Neo-Liberalism U.S. Parties: No Match Presidents: Bill Clinton (88.10%) 2004 Election Candidates: John Kerry (81.78%), George W. Bush (68.75%), Ralph Nader (64.37%) Long Test Results: Moral Order: 1.5 Moral Rules: -7 System: Conservatism Variation: Economic Conservatism Ideologies: Ultra Capitalism, Conservative Neo-Liberalism U.S. Parties: Republican Party Presidents: Ronald Reagan (95.06%) 2004 Election Candidates: George W. Bush (82.18%), John Kerry (70.27%), Ralph Nader (51.54%) Not bad, not bad
  2. What's with lefties and their animosity towards profit? It seems that they are more concerned about dragging people down to their own level than they are concerned with bettering themselves. If someone can do something more efficiently and cheaper, by all means let them cash in on it. The last time I checked, most people aren't in too much of a hurry to do something for free...
  3. Economic Left/Right: 9.13 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.54
