  1. For every racist threat against Jews there is one against Palestinians or Muslims and Arabs in general. The sad truth about this conflict is that a lot of people on both sides have used it to show who they really are.

  2. When the UN votes on things like these, 90% of the world always either votes for it or abstains, while the US, Israel and a few of their dogs vote against. Not that it would matter, the UN is more useless than an ice cream truck in Nunavut. But it shows that when push comes to shove, international law has two standards: One for Israel, and the other for everyone else. It's funny how we hear nonstop from the woke government about our past sin of colonialism, while we refuse to hold Israel responsible for its current sin!

When there is no justice, people take the law into their own hands, the Conservative leader should have been arrested for his complicity in the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza

You can't be complicit if you don't run the government. I lean pro-Palestinian but the idea of doing that is utterly insane.

Peaceful protests should be allowed, but not when they become un-peaceful.

I was not sure whether to post this here or in the federal forum.

As a response to Trudeau axing the heating oil tax (which means nothing for Sask. residents), Premier Scott Moe has decided to get rid of the entire carbon tax in the province himself.

Though making sure Saskatchewan is being treated fairly is what Moe should be doing as Premier, there is no doubt this will seriously harm relations with the federal government.

Trudeau's government started this by going mask-off and admitting they're basically punishing the Prairies for not voting the way they want them to.

Important: If you don't live in Atlantic Canada, there is a 98% chance this means absolutely nothing for you. It's also an admittance from Trudeau that families are struggling with the tax and aren't getting their money's worth. But of course, he only cares about the families in places that are electorally imperative for liberals. If you live in Western Canada, you get nothing.

But the thread title brings out the Peanut Gallery like it was intended to. That's how trolling works.
You know teaching a simple lesson about discrimination or white privilege IS discrimination these guys decided long ago.

I knew you'd eventually come in here to endorse the "right" kind of discrimination.

    They tried that

When? Ukraine also tried negotiating with Russia. They gave up their nuclear arsenal to ensure their sovereignty in the Budapest Memorandum. They were invaded anyway. Israel has nukes, and could invoke the Samson Option to destroy the world. But when it comes to Israel, Canada Firsters like yourself cannot help but bow down.

Don’t be dumb. Simply being American doesn’t mean they’re bringing American style policies or politics (which are not even the same thing btw)

I'm not sure how your logic works. If you put a horse inside a pig pen will it suddenly behave like a pig? And are some of the pigs actually horses because you disagree with them?

  9. I take a break for a week and a lot has transpired, eh?

Everyone is entitled to their freedom of speech and peaceful protest, even if I disagree with them.

However, since Hamas is officially declared a terrorist group here, that supersedes it all. People who support terrorist groups should not be allowed to walk freely. Period.

However, support for Palestine doesn't mean support for Hamas. Israel itself initially supported Hamas as a counterbalance to the secular PLO. Hamas is one of the many groups claiming to fight on behalf of the Palestinian people.

If people want to support the Palestinian cause devoid of an officially prescribed terrorist group, that's fine. If they support the violence and massacres, that's extremely problematic.
