About Me

I'm a dad, husband, grandpa, Navy Veteran, artist, poet, and news blogger. I believe that love, compassion, and inclusiveness are baneful to hatefulness, bigotry, and prejudice and that a good education and health care are as much a right as freedom of speech, voting, and redress of grievances.

My politics are quite simple; I am first and foremost people, animal, and planet-minded and when it comes to voting I simply vote for the right man or woman I believe to do the job properly. I weigh their abilities, education, professional (political and private sector) experience, and ethics (historical and present conduct) pulling from all of their interactions and if I find them to be for the people one hundred percent, honest, moral, and upright in their dealings then they are a go. However, if they live a life and run a campaign based on ridicule, slander, and divisiveness or with immoral/unethical conduct then no, they are a non-starter. Like I said my views are quite people-oriented in nature and so, therefore, it stands to reason that I would not nor could not hold with any policy, law, bill, order, or regulation that would take a single right from the people excepting those laws and regulations that unduly harm or hinder the people on a wholesale basis, further, I believe the people have the last say in all government business and I uphold the Constitution of the United States and its Bill of Rights fully yet I also believe that America must create and make changes to their laws as progress or lack thereof dictates. Finally, I am a popular vote guy vs. Electoral College for obvious reasons and I support term limits across the board.

The government exists to serve the people and operates at the people’s pleasure and on behalf of the people and for the good welfare of the people and safety of the same.

As to religion, I love and respect all religions for I am a seeker of great variety and truth in life and believe that every religion has a foundation for truth and that no one religion is right or wrong, they are what they are, the individual believer's belief. There are so many beautiful faiths in this vast world of ours that to attach oneself to just one faith or belief would deprive me of life lessons and beautiful experiences I would not otherwise know. Why would anyone want to ever do that to themself is beyond me. I have but one condition regarding any religion and that is it must not harm anyone or anything in its practice.

And that will conclude this brief and quite unspectacular bio of just another ordinary person.
