  1. Exciting and dangerous. The US will pull out of Iraq if Dean wins in '04. This will be his main foreign policy concept - isolationism. He can't moderate his 'I hate Bush and the Iraq war' position now. He is too far gone and the hate Bush crowd is the only way the Dumbo's can organise an effective national campaign. I believe Bush will win 35 states and '04. So the US will be in Iraq. They have to stay there a min. of 5 years with a huge military precense. If this transpires and the Iraqi para military is well trained and helps out with obliterating the insurgents and if Hussein is caught, castrated and beheaded, then Iraq within 5 years will be a reformed and transformed country. The pre-requisite is however a Bush victory in '04. If not sorry folks, Iraq will fall back into anarchy.
  2. What are you talking about ? The CSR was a 'revolution' in name only. Debt went up, so did overall taxation. Some reforms went through, not nearly enough. Lastman was filibustered by the left wing council on any significant issue. He had no chance to pass meaningful reform given that the majority of council members are bought off by Unions and left wing groups. The nexus of the left wing movement is the execrable Olivia Chow, wife of well known social crusader and moral coward, Jack Layton. She gets an obscene amount of press and airtime, to stutter in her broken english, the usual socialist litany of feel good politics and spending programs. Toronto is in need of serious serious reforms. The sooner the councillors are forced to run under party flags the better. Currently the NDP and Unions control the city and nary a voter concern is expressed since the councillors and their vested interestes are hidden from public view. The 10 issues i presented are THE pressing issues, not closing down a bridge to the Island, which is a contractual obligation and will cost legal fees to get out of. This is NOT a priority. Unless you are a left wing nitwit that refuses to face reality of course. Sounds like you fall into that camp.
  3. The Dumbo's are now very liberal and very left wing. Dean is dragging them all the way to Canadian styled liberalism - isolationism, bash the military, hate foreigners, regulate everything, tax more, and spend whatever nickels are rolling on the floor. The Dumbo's are going to be marginalised. Greater America is not peopled by idiots [that group only exists in a few enclaves on either coast and votes Liberal]. They recognised that tax cuts, military strength and projected force are necessary to stimulate the economy and protect sovereignty. The Dumbo's have no message, no vision - only a neanderthalic hatred of Bush. Hating the incumbent has never won an election.
  4. Miller, another lawyer [big surprise] is now the official NDP chief of Toronto. Toronto has the following major issues to resolve and deal with - here is the top 10 - note how the Lefties and chubby cheeks Miller, will IGNORE ALL of them: 1. Infrastructure investment in roads and rail DESPERATELY needed 2. $2.5 Billion in debt that needs to be paid down, and a $6 billion yearly budget that needs drastic downsizing to help us reduce taxes, including reducing Property taxes - the HIGHEST in North America 3. Firms moving to the hinterland to avoid the high taxes 4. Exportation of $25 billion per annum to the rest of Canada that needs to stop so we can rebuild our infrastructure 5. A subway system that is a pathetic joke [so small if you blink you miss it] and needs to be built [using private $] including a rail connection between downtown and the airport [name me one other major US city we compete with that has that problem] 6. Political reform - all councillors must run under party flags so we at least have a clue who they are [in the last election only 1 of 6 candidates for councillor in my area had a web site ! and there were no debates !!] 7. Homeless and Vagabonds all over downtown and rising crime rates in every area - a no tolerance policy is needed. 8 Skilled people leaving and going to the US crushed by low wages and high taxes and poor infrastructure here. 9. 100.000 Immigrants pouring in year and after and the City has no budget from Ottawa, nor any control over the flow 10. $13 Billion Waterfront project - paid by - you guessed it - Mr. and Mrs. Canadian taxpayer. No financials on this project are yet public and a closed 3 man commission headed by Chretien fundraiser Robert Fung is controlling the process. So what does Miller do? Kills off 3.000 jobs by cancelling a bridge to the Island and forestalling signed contracts from being honoured. It will cost us millions in penalties to stop this construction. Did the Island Bridge make the top 10 'to do list' for Toronto ? No - but the lefties love to ignore reality, love to do what is not necessary to do, and love to kill jobs. Toronto is going to sink further under Miller and his left wing pals. This is bad news for the rest of Canada since Toronto pays a lot of the bills for the country. How can a city elect the NDP ??????????????????????? Mind boggling.
  5. Yes the Iraqi's have their moment. The insurgents will be defeated, Hussein castrated, and his fascist minions put to death. Then we will see the spirit of an oppressed people rise up and show the naysayers what they are capable of. There is a good reason why the Iraqi's want the US and not the UNO in their country to manage security and the transitionary period. They recognise the ineffectiveness and inutility of the UNO. The UNO, outside of East Timor, which has a population the same size as Peterborough Ont., has no experience with rebuilding states. The only successful organisation that has rebuilt states is the US government. Yes they will make lots of mistakes, but like with most issues, the Americans eventually get it right.
  6. Pretty sad when the 'Useful Idiot' crowd keeps defending fascists. I don't suppose that any argument along economic, political or moral lines will dissuade those who believe that leaving a megalo-maniac with a penchant for murder, warring, oil domination and chemical production, in charge of cowed, beaten, subjected and humiliated people was the right course of action. Iraq is just one step in a longer journey that will take years to traverse. It is the long sought for and much delayed first step in rebuilding a broken system in a corrupt area of the world and dragging failed Islamic societies into the modern era. I am no fan of Islam, but i do believe that with time, the right tools, the right economic strategy and with a secure representative system of laws and governance, that the Arab world will respond quite favorably to Western styled societal construction. I have faith that the Iraqi's themselves will rise up in the coming years and turn their own country around. At least now they have their chance. Let's see what they and the US will do with it. I am certain - 110% - that they will succeed.
  7. And we should add the UNO inspired, and EU supported ie. FRENCH inspired, Kyoto Protocol - one of the dimmest and dumbest ideas in history. Canada should stop paying attention to these socialist nitwits and worry about building economic advantage. Apparently even our Russian friends understand that the Kyoto farce is an economic penalty on growth, clean societies and proper energy development.
  8. Hillary will not be a force in 2008. First when confronted she is entirely vacuous. She is robotic has the same pat answers for the standard questions, is not a dynamic thinker and is surrounded by Clinton's old team - hardly a group of world beaters. She is left of left centre, and appeals to a solid core of Dumbo supporters but will never be trusted by most of the party. Thankfully the US voters will see through Hitlery and understand the sham that she is, and I truly doubt that the Demos will appoint her party leader for 2008. She can't win not even with CNN telling you that she will. The Reps might use Jeb Bush? or another strong Governor with a proven record of turning things around in his state. Maybe Jeb would be a good VP. 2008 is a long way away, but the war on terror will be either won or waning by then, the US economy will still be strong [it is on a 10 year rise I predict] and the Dumbocruds will still be searching for intelligent life and policy within their little world. Don't forget the Dumbos appeal to the Coasts and liberal enclaves and not to the mass of America. They have only won ONE southern state in the past 3 elections. They are not a national party and Hitlery Clinton only appeals to a narrow support base and is NOT the national leader that can pull the Demos together. Having said that I would LOVE to see Hitlery Run and get smashed to bits by the Reps. I would die a happy man when that happens.
  9. No i call it common sense policy. The CA is a barely right of centre group - their fiscal policies are common sense and supplied side driven. They are the right policies and exactly what Canada needs. Only in Canada can such a left wing country call moderate economic stimulus 'right wing', and intone in sonorous CBC voice that such ideals will destroy your Canadian identity. So pre 1965 when Canada had lower taxes than the States i guess the people then perforce felt unCanadian. Maybe ask gramps that question. Smart economics is neither right nor left, but adheres to paying bills and funding society's various programs. What is right of centre about the CA is their social conservatism which does appeal to the West but not the liberal types in Ont., who believe that nothing matters and all is relative. A rather sad ideology. Bush has increased spending [18 %], created a new Medicare entitlement program, erected tariffs, bashed China, talked down the dollar and shown little interest in hemispheric free trade. And you call Bush a Neo-Con ? In Foreign policy thankfully yes he is. But not in trade policy. I am just happy that the grownups are back in the WH and little Billy Clinton and friends are outside with faces pressed against the windows wondering when the next pajama party is.
  10. Socialist Liberals are the Useful Idiots as Lenin called them, who believe that everything can be managed and that state sponsored limitations on freedom, economics, and thought are necessary. Unfortunately Socialism defined as the creation of a society that is premised on elite direction of socio-economic matters, and 'Rawlsian' justice, equality and embedded rights, with equal misery and equal redistribution for all, is alive and well. Such a creed promising welfare and some form of social equality, can manifest itself in many surprising forms - Fascism is one, Theocracy is another, Divine Right another, Oligarchy yet another. Under the socialist system the elite benefit, the rest suffer. There is little bourgeouis defence of middle class voting interests [no money], the market is not consumer oriented but politically oriented, freedoms are limited and opportunity non-existent or in decline. Socialism has native appeal. Justice, equality, tears of compassion, and 'feeling' placed above intelligence, effort and reality. It is however, an entirely perverted philosophy, based upon a mis-reading of markets, the human spirit, the capacity for self interested compassion and virtue, and the unmistakeable desire to build, develop, enrich and progress. Canada - as a socialist entity - would do well to get rid of such an enervating philosophy. Big gov't, controlled by an elite, does not a moral society make.
  11. The Dumbos don't need Nader - they have Dean. Dean sounds more like good old Ralphie boy every day - regulate more, tax more, and have more gov't departments and ensure eco-friendly business is enshrined. Whoopee!! Demand management techniques and Keynesianism are failures. Pity that Dean and Ralph don't understand that.
  12. Flea, i don't know what dream world you live in, but stop posting nonsense. You add zero value to this board. Kyoto is NOT supported by MNCs. Most MNCs are virulently against Kyoto - the minor exceptions are firms like SunCor who line up for SUBSIDIES. Most other firms, in any sector, recognise that Kyoto means higher taxes and higer regulations. The Cdn gov't promised Suncor and the oil patch subisidies to shut them up [ie. a BRIBE Flea]. Other firms in energy intensive sectors will lose jobs, competitiveness and nary a subsidy in sight. I posted a 40 page overview of the sources, rationale and main purpose of Kyoto. It has nothing to do with science and everything to do with the EU wanting a level energy cost playing field with the US. Even the Russians, unlike the Canadians, have the common sense to say nyet to such an idiotic concept.
  13. That a boy Flea, your true colors shine through. You are a socialist-unilateralist - against free trade, against military power, and a hater of modernity. Let me take a wild guess - you are a disciple of that moron Michael Moore, the fat man that hates himself almost as much as he hates America. Why don't you and the fat man, go live in North Korea, or Borneo, or the Congo, or Ecuador, or Jamaica, or Cuba, or the Ukraine, or Iran or any society that supports your misshapen view of the historical record. The left liberal media has done its work well on you and others with the same narrow minded view of reality.
  14. The bible is a collection of stories - parables - and roadmaps for living in an age 2000 years gone by. It stories are often full of magic, superstition, contradict each other, are historically inaccurate and geographically at times incoherent. The bible is a history based on documents that have been lost, folklore, oral tradition and written by hundreds of people over 1000 years. To state that this is the book of 'one god' is, to put it politely, total crap. The bible has its usefulness - the adherence to supernaturality, the resurrection of Christ and in fact the whole history of Christ, and other myths, is not one of them. Morals, ethics, parables and examples of why the doctrine is necessary is of course to be encouraged. Whether Christ was alive is in the end unimportant. However, you have to admit that the facts supporting his life are about NIL. This makes an interesting and ironic proposition. What would it mean if Christ was the greatest fraud of all time ???
  15. Canadians are not stupid - in fact a majority WANTS increased military spending. It is the governing elite, using money and programs to buy votes that are ignorant. Abetted by the media mouthpieces, these elitist lawyers and 'professors' [aka the intelligentsia], have decided that no military power, redistribution, socialism and feel good nationalism is what Canadians want. 2/3 of Cdns are opposed to Gay marriage but do you think that troubles the elites ? The liberals in our society will ram that through. Much like killing off the military nothing troubles these elitist wanks, except getting re-elected and making u chant again and again 'I am Canadian, I am superior.' Like Nazi films during the 30s showing strutting bands and experts attesting to Jewish inferiority and evil, Canada's political and media mouthpieces keep trumpeting the same tired jingoistic song. While they free ride of the US - have to love the inherent illogic and immorality of socialism. Military spend has been redirected to election spend and liberal greasing of various regions and hands. Welcome to corruption Cdn style. Your country is deemed by its elite not worthwhile to fight for. Man that makes me so proud!!!
  16. Make it official. Disband the military, assume neutrality and pull out of Nato and UN engagements. There will be no increased funding under Martin, who will govern the country like Chretien, and the military will implode anyways within 10 years. So do it now and save the armed forces this humiliation.
  17. You have: -no sources -did not bother to read a thing i posted -did not refute one single argument i made -i even posted a 40 page summary of what is the wrong with the Accord - Read it if you want to learn about it Obviously you get your information from either Greenpeace or the CBC. Climate change is caused more by solar radiation changes and sun patterns than by humans. Humans only produce 5 % of the CO2 and Methane emitted - what then about the other 95 %. You are also wilfully blind to the base and obvious fact, following of course like a good Canadian the CBC line, that the EU is using Kyoto to address its economic weakness with the USA. The US has more efficient energy assets higher utilisation of the assets and newer assets than the EU. The Europeans need to jump start their sick economies, Kyoto and taxing US energy and regulating it, will level the economic competitive landscape. This would cost 2 % of GDP for the US and Canada, and in Canada alone according to Ottawa - 300.000 jobs would be lost in the GTA alone in energy intensive industries. Kyoto is UN junk science at its worst - remember Global Cooling ??? It is a mandate for socialised regulation and taxation and world government. It is a subsidy gravy train for eco fascist groups.
  18. This means future higher profits, no inflation and more jobs. And in Canada..........?
  19. Well Derek unlike Christ at least we KNOW that Luther existed. Christ did not. It is impossible that not one single contemporary did not bother to mention Christ or his movement if the man had existed. Without documentative proof you can't say he existed, that is simply a myth, a falsehood, a hope. You might as well believe in the medieval myth of Preacher John and his Asian Christian kingdom or Jacob wrestling with God. At least the homosexually inclined Luther had plenty of data to support his existence Interesting your man Luther turned against the German peasants when they rose against Rome and he told various Catholic and Protestant rulers to destroy and obliterate the peasants and their revolt. Nice chap Luther. Rather ironic twist for the man, that helped create German nationalism and who destroyed Rome's cash cow.
  20. Canada has 2 full % points higher interest rates than the US which accounts for a surging loonie [coupled with rising gold prices and lowering foreign direct investment in the US which equals a lower US$ and rising commodity prices]. Compare what the Americans have done vs. the Bank of Canada with Mr. Laughing Boy David Dodge who never ceases to break into massive guffaws for the camera. US: -M1 supply is up, liquidity is up and rates are 1 % -Investment, personal, and dividend tax credits and reductions -Economic growth is current 8 % and productivity an astounding 5+% -150.000 jobs per month are being created Canada: -M1 is barely up, liquidity is up but at about 30% only of the comparable US level, rates are 2.25 % higher than US rates -No reduction in taxes [Martin's $100 B 5 year plan is offset by rising CPP and payroll taxes, the actuall decline in taxes is $8 b per year, more than offset by rising spending and unfunded liabilities federally and by for instance Ontario's recent tax increases]. -Canada has at best 2 % GDP growth this year, and a productivity rate of 1 -1.5 %. Net Result: Lowered living standards of Canadians vs. the US, Cdn businesses howling that a 76 cent loonie is too dear because our productivity is so bad, capital investment is not taking place due to higher taxes which only compounds the productivity and profit issue and businesses are reluctant to hire workers - except in the government of course !!! Wonder why people head south for opportunity ? Monetary and fiscal policy that is why. Let's get busy with some reforms and dynamism up here. Martin can start by firing Laughing boy Dodge, get a guy to lower rates, increase the M1 and then push through the tax cuts he is promising - without offset tax increases somewhere else thank you very much. And oh, stop taxing capital and assets. This kills jobs.
  21. There is not one shred of evidence of global warming. Riff and his Raff are such tiresome bores. I have posted so many posts with hard real scientific evidence that I am frankly sick of doing it. Here is a summary for the boneheads and witless wonders who think that global warming exists. If you wiped out mankind you would only wipe out 5 % of CO2 and Methane emissions. 95 % comes from natural biomass. Duh, but Kyoto is really valid science [stated with a Homer simpson accent]. Kyoto is 'READ THIS CAREFULLY' about the EU levelling the cost of energy playing field with the US. The EU politicians have even admitted as such. KYOTO IS A SOCIAL POLICY TO PUNISH HIGH GROWTH, CLEAN NATIONS. Canada is the biggest loser under Kyoto. It is a diverse, transport dependent country in a cold climate that depends on energy for its economic survival. Canada by measure of GDP output per carbon emission output and the USA are 2 of the cleanest countries in the world. Only Germany, which uses more nuclear energy is cleaner on a GDP basis analysis which is the only valid way to measure energy consumption especially when you take geographic size into account. For the Kyoto loving Boneheads here is a summary: Kyoto Bad Science If you want 40 pages of proof of why Kyoto is the most abysmal politically motivated transference of wealth in history read this: Kyoto is Politics If you want to live with mushrooms and grow in the dark, just keeping listening to guys like Sir Riff of Raff. Quick Summary: The science behind Kyoto is so bad that 18.000 Climatologists and Scientists have signed a petition urging its rejection. Politicians tell you that the scientific community is united on global warming. It isn’t. Only 800 environmental activists and government scientists support Kyoto. The scientists who oppose Kyoto make the following points that the United Nations has never bothered to refute: [see Bjorn Lomberg’s ‘The Skeptical Environmentalist’ or Ezra Levant’s ‘Fight Kyoto’] 1.IPCC uses computer models to drive out forecasts. Their models do not include all the variables associated with the climate. About 1 million variables make up the climate. Technically it is impossible to model the interactions of 1 million variables. As such ‘garbage in’ and ‘garbage out’. 2.IPCC models are based on tree ring data from North America for the past 1000 years. There are many problems with this. First the data is land based and geographically limited. Most of the earth is left out. Second tree ring data is not supported by atmospheric data readings. Third, the sample size and number of years is too small to make general statements about temperature swings. 3.The earth was much warmer during the Medieval Warm Period 900-1400 AD. This warm spell ended around 1350-1400 and the temperature decreased precipitating the ‘Little Ice Age’ [1400-1900]. IPCC models can’t explain these temperature swings. 4.Data seems to indicate that there are regular occurrences like the little ice age and the medieval warm period in a rough 1500 year cycle. This cycle has repeated itself endlessly over the past 140.000 years 5.Most of any temperature increase in the 20th century apparently occurred in two phases, during 1910-1945 and from 1975-2000. The first period is impossible to align with greenhouse emissions. The second phase can be aligned with emissions but 25 years does not constitute a meaningful long term trend, especially when between 1945-1975 there were rising emissions but no corresponding increase in temperature. 6.Dr. Tim Patterson, professor of earth sciences at Ottawa's Carleton University, Dr. Pat Michaels, professor of climatology at the University of Virginia, Dr. John Christy, Professor and Director, Earth System Science Center at the University of Alabama, and many others explain that these far more accurate and comprehensive satellite temperature sensors reveal only a very small temperature rise since measurements began in 1979. Dr. Christy says the trend is about 0.07C per decade, right at the edge of statistical significance and certainly far too small to be noticeable. 7.IPCC models incredibly do not include Solar Radiation effects or Cloud Cover. Solar Radiation is the most important variable in determining temperature. 8.Ice core records show that at the end of each of the last three major ice ages, temperatures rose several hundred years before CO2 levels increased. 9.At the beginning of the most recent glacial period about 114,000 years ago, CO2 remained relatively high until long after temperatures plummeted. 10.Global average CO2 levels have been found to lag behind changes in tropical sea surface temperature by six to eight months. As the ocean warms, it is unable to hold as much CO2 in solution and consequently releases the gas into the atmosphere contributing to the observed CO2 level rise. 11.Climatologists Marcel Fligge and Sami Solanki demonstrated in the respected journal, Geophysical Research Letters, that the warming or cooling of the Earth during the past four centuries closely matches variations in the Sun's brightness. 12.Publications in journals, "Science" and "Paleoceanography" show that CO2 levels were higher at the end of the last ice age than during the much warmer Eocene period, 43 million years earlier. These studies also found that CO2 levels are far higher today than they were during the relatively hot Miocene period, 17 million years ago. There is little correlation therefore between warmth and CO2 levels. 13.Furthermore the IPCC and UN have not bothered to prove that CO2 emissions are in fact dangerous and constitute a threat to the environment through field work. Nature Magazine in 2001 published a report citing that CO2 levels have often been as high as 5 times what they are today. In a North Carolina experiment 50 % more CO2 was pumped into in a forested area which resulted in faster growth, stronger trees and cones and no damage whatsoever to the ecosystem. 14.During the 1970s the UN was warning us about Global Cooling in the same apocalyptic tones. In fact it said that we had until 1980 to fix the global cooling problem. How much faith should we have in an agency that was so wrong about global cooling ? 15.How does one explain that the winter of 2003 was the coldest on record for dozens of areas around the earth ? 16.Most importantly -- Ninety five percent of CO2 emissions come from natural sources and the earth releases 210,000 mega tonnes each year of CO2 gas. Only about 5 % of this comes from industrial and human activity.
  22. Lots of media handwringing. More people are killed annually in Toronto-Washington-New York and London than will be killed in 2-3 years in Iraq. But hey, that is okay, it is a disaster in Iraq obviously. Why the US will crush the insurgents within one year: 1. The latest intelligence puts the number of active Iraqi guerrillas at 5,000 and sympathizers at around 50,000. The insurgents have plenty of firepower, including assault rifles, explosive devices, rocket-propelled grenades and a number of shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles. And their funding appears sufficient to pay young men as much as $5,000 to risk an attack against American forces. But an insurgency requires several other elements to succeed: popular support, money, weapons and a safe haven to hide, train and plan. The Baathist insurgency has adequate arms but little else. Only the most 'useful of idiots' in the West believe that the Iraqi's want fascism and Islamo-theocratic governance. 2. The Pentagon says most of the insurgents are former Baath Party officials and other Saddam loyalists and nearly all are part of Iraq’s Sunni Arab minority. The Sunnis have little influence outside the Baathist/Sunni triangle which extends just north and west of Baghdad. Little terror activity occurs outside this area, and American generals say their best intelligence on the insurgence comes from other Iraqis fed up with the resistance. 3. The Baathists lack a credible ideology to inspire new recruits. Returning Saddam to power generates little enthusiasm anywhere in Iraq, and, according to a recent study by Baghdad University, 71.5 percent of Iraqis favor the occupation, at least on a temporary basis. 4. Hussein will be caught and killed. 5. Arms caches are being uncovered weekly and eventually weapons supplies will run out. This is why the outcome is inevitable. Even if the French and their useful idiot allies try to fund the insurgents
  23. AF, some good points. You forget that Cdns are very left wing so that some of your points which are centrist are deemed in Canada - 'wild right wing Americanims'. They are depicted in grave fascist overtones by the overwrought press and snivelling educated types, who gain their knowledge from the CBC. -Immigration; only 25 % enter the country for jobs and we import countless refugees who are terrorists - apparently in Toronto about 100 K muslims are here without work. Who knows what these people are doing here. -Emigration; We lose 40 K people per year to the States, this means that our 30 millions would really be 50 millions if we had a climate conducive to job creation and low taxes in Canada -Religion; the US is far more religious than Canada and this can be construed as good or bad. The divorce rate is just as high there as here, so religion by itself means nothing qua family unity. However Gay Marriage definitely undermines the institution and the makeup of society and should be revoked. Individual Responsibility - this is the key difference i think between the countries. Canada has a living standards issue and a wage/take home pay problem. IR is not beholden in Canada as a great ideal. It is in the US. The system in the States forces you to get involved and get informed. In Canada you can sleep walk through life. The inertia in Canada is so great - the political systems so rotten and populated by such bad advisers and handlers and opinion pollsters - that change is not to be expected. AF - if the CA wants power - they have 2 choices after uniting with the Tories: 1. Fiscal Conserative policies and major reform platforms that are consistently argued and presented. 2. Lose the Social Conservatism.
  24. That was proven a fraud as well. Many signs including the chalk, the type of inscription, the way it was written, the isotypes found in the coffin and on the inscription and the carbon dating of the coffin itself as well as the carvings all lead to fraud. As well it is illogical that someone who was crucified and who supposedly was wrapped in sheets and stored in a cave would have a coffin. Why would you have a coffin if your remains were thrown into a hole in a cave ? None of the stories around or about Jesus make a lot of sense.
  25. KK, these 'zealots' would not be unhappy until Islamo - Fascism has defeated US interests. Nothing would make the lunatic left happier than the destruction of civilisation and of stupid white men in particular. Isn't it obvious that technology, progress, higher living standards, education, health and knowledge are evil, iniquitous and brutal ? Better to suspend progress, revert back to superstition and avow that all attempts to build a modern, democratic world are evil and imperialistic. Better to create national fortresses immune to trade, international influence and premised on isolationism. Much better to yield to fascism and the higher culture of Islam than to defend freedom. Sickening isn't it. I don't know why you waste your time arguing with Fleabag.
