The Death Penalty (Reprise)

They banned capital punishment a long time ago,

And that's quite a pity as all here should know,

So you didn’t have to think if killers should live or die,

Even poems whose verse is bad, sad and wry.

Goody-two-shoe left-wingers did it because they could,

Bad conservative poets all thought it was good,

For now bad tory poets could all have their way,

And with terrible verse they were all free to slay.

Then they allowed these killers out in fifteen years,

But that was not what frightened their peers,

“Faint hope” clause they called it with crocodile tears,

But the bad poets were the cause of all our fears.

Lethal injections seems the honorable way to go,

It’s painless so they say and they ought to know,

Less painful than James' verses, as we are all aware,

Just having to put up with him is really quite unfair.

And make it retroactive for those who qualify,

BREDIN tops the list of these, no need to wonder why,

And our hug-a-thug politicians will eventually change,

Or maybe we could put JAMES BREDIN on the firing range.

We could have a guillotine and on close circuit TV,

Hold up the severed heads for everyone to see,

And yet this case there can be no good from that it's said,

That's because JAMES BREDIN has already lost his head.

With a special thanks to all those who have enjoyed my previous verses.

Good Lord, the man is so myopic, he doesn't even realize he's being repeatedly slammed here.

It's one thing not to respond to your detractors, but another to not even read them.

Why secret immigration hearings, do you suppose?

To keep out silly goofballs who would disrupt proceedings!

Is the justice system completely rigged by those?

Only if your paranoid and toward bad verse you're leaning!

Special interest crowd with their own hidden agenda,

Or delusional right winger with overactive imagination!

Published in their papers with their left-wing propaganda

Or published on a website to torment a whole nation.

Why is it so difficult to deport these terrorist types?

But everyone's a terrorist to seomone with a tinfoil hat!

Is it the Charter, their culture or their media hypes?

None of the above, it's just some seriously twisted cat!

Is it politicians who sold their souls to this or that crowd?

Or a truly horrid poet of his own delusions proud!

Claiming it’s secret stuff and has to be kept under a cloud

"The sky is falling, the sky is falling" he shrieks out long and loud.

Why can’t we just grab a terrorist and kick him out?

I'm sure we could if there was concrete proof that's what he was!

Though they all claim they’ll get tortured no doubt,

Just like what you're doing with you're poetry, to us!

Some claim they were born here though they’re adult male,

You were born here after all, but adult you are not!!!

Which gives them reason to stay here and get easy bail

At least you're poetry seems to be penned by a teenage snot.

Can we change Trudeau’s Charter or any of our laws?

Another guy who screams for change, but does nothing to bring it!!!

Caught in terrorist jaws as we listen to their applause?

The only terror 'round these parts is this verse, I've reached my limit!!!

Are we not aware that terrorism is a new form of war?

And poetry like this is certainly a weapon of destruction!!!

As they even bring their fights through the courtroom door.

And get berated by a poet who can barely function!!!

Where is our leadership or those who will explain?

Why do you come here and ask this question of me???

Why some of us die in Afghanistan in great pain,

Pick up your phone you may get a reply from your MP!!!

Why can’t we seal ourselves off from this global mess?

Because you can fence yourself in, but not the world out!!!

No battlefield here but suicide bombers and distress

All imagined by a tinfoil-hat wearing tory lout!!!!!

Well, it may not be sensible, but it is fun.

gee, must be rough living in a country with so many socialist structures like common roadways, parks, electricity, sewer, water, telephone. and when natural resources like wood, water, minerals and even oil are publicly held... how infuriating!

suggest you move to somewhere where these things are owned by somebody.

The Welfare System

Building after building stacked with single mothers,

Surly sisters with different surnamed half brothers,

These future single mothers and now fatherless boys,

Listen to their loud music and other ghetto noise.

Subculture of smoke, guns, gangs, brothers and others,

The top layer of this sub culture are the single mothers,

Demanding their rights for government welfare support,

As though they were on holidays in this ghetto resort.

And none of this is ever broadcast in the media,

No words could describe it even in the encyclopedia,

And politicians look on this as voters’ human rights,

Can’t be fixed, can’t be changed and it’s such a delight.

And bureaucrats and social workers wall to wall,

24/7 and these good folks are always on call,

And maintenance too to mow and sweep and clean,

And keep everything running like a brand new machine.

I checked it out VERY briefly (so I would not lose my breakfast) and found that the few poems I scanned had no replies.

What if everyone here who is sickened by this nonsense start spamming his site with negative comments, just as he is spamming us with his vile verse????

Can't hurt to try.

Actually, I have been at odds with GH on several occasions, and have posted appropriately.

The difference is that GERRY posts something, and then sticks around and responds to people in the thread.

Whether you like him or not, at least he is playing by common forum rules.

This guy is simply spamming us.

Just to make sure my facts are straight on this, I did a search on KILKEE's (Mr. BREDIN's) posts here.

Here is the breakdown.

24 posts are poems, 22 of which never had any sort of follow up from him, nor did he address any comments in the threads in which these poems were posted.

12 posts were actually comments, although of these, a few were single sentences, so hardly fodder for debate.

It is also noteworthy that 6 of the 12 comment posts happened on 2 days, May 6, and May 16. The last time our good antagonist actually posted a comment rather than a poem was on July 10.

1 post stand in what I would call "Other" category. The comment consists of "Who is the head guy in Islam?", followed by a link entitled "Advance Your Education Now". But when you click on the link, it takes you to Mr BREDIN'S blogsite.

This thread is now in it's 3rd page, with something around a half dozen posts by BREDIN.

But NONE of these are addressing anyone else's comments. ALL are simply more poems.

You do the math. He is obviously not here to participate in, let alone further the level of, debate.

You can see that my motivation here is not partisan based so much as it is fueled by annoyance and disgust with someone who is obviously misusing the forums.

Additionally, the man's poetry is just plain bad.

It displays, at best, a primary school level of literary competence.

Indeed, I agree. Doesn't matter whether these poems are 'right or left wing', religious or otherwise, they are spam (or perhaps 'flame' posts) and should be removed (along with 'Kilkee') from the forum.

UN Peace Keeping Missions

Canada’s bureaucracy at the UN has been reduced,

Despite the large numbers the adscam Liberals introduced,

UN proposals are mostly vetoed but they’re not too bright,

Various camps veto each other completely out of sight.

A constant UN exercise in bureaucratic futility,

Which sometimes can cause extreme international hostility,

The war in Afghanistan is only one small sample,

Dead UN observers in Lebanon is another example.

And Saddam’s oil for food has been completely shredded,

No evidence of where the billions went or where they were headed,

And no one is allowed to question UN ethics,

Or find out whose side they might be on in these antics.

There are no front lines but Canadians are being killed,

Our UN peace keepers over there all so well drilled,

Suicide bombers kill our soldiers in those conditions,

And all it does is improve UN political ambitions?

There is no honorable victory and little debate,

No peace keeping there since Alexander the Great,

The British and the Russians realized this and left,

It was years and centuries ago and they all left bereft.

Why should we be involved in their ethnic wars and affairs?

If they want to kill each other over there; who cares?

That’s right; the UN wants us up to our necks and involved,

They have their own agenda and we’re going to get it solved.

Can we withdraw our troops and live in splendid isolation?

The war on terrorism can’t be won with soldiers on station,

There is no battlefield and they won’t come out and fight,

Their uniform is a suicide bomb belt out of sight.

Their omnipresent socialist propaganda is free,

Pumped out carefully daily in the media and TV,

And we are programmed to think along certain lines,

Just like Lenin and Stalin did in their times.

Except we’ve got soft-on-crime judges where no one hangs,

Where terrorists with bombs can join secret gangs,

Because they know if they’re caught they might get a kiss,

Probation or they might get a lecture about being remiss.

Then double the number of incoming refugees,

Decisions made at meeting of left-wing committees,

Don’t you dare ever ask, if we are mentally ill?

Not one politician with guts like Churchill.

Are there more terrorists out there or should we look?

Or should we be obedient and read our prayer book?

Because god is good and we should be so pleased,

Publication ban on evidence to keep us appeased.

Internet Changes Coming to You

I hear the UN wants to take over the Internet,

Rearrange names and numbers but no reason to fret,

Like their Human Rights Councils, they know what to do,

Call it the International Internet Council but who knew?

Where they can direct International Public propaganda,

Influenced by some dictator’s pompous agenda,

And indeed you may find that you are completely banned,

Because of your attitude and political stand.

But never mind, it will all be for a good UN cause,

They’ll take the Internet from the Americans just because,

They want to organize all this without permission,

Because it’s part of their UN political ambition.

And introduce global taxes for poor Kyoto regions,

International red tape bureaucracy for all seasons,

It will be expensive for places with no power,

You better learn to respect them and how to cower.

Of course censorship may be involved in these changes,

It’s what the new UN boss thinks or arranges,

Because if you show disrespect you could go to jail,

Just like their other declared suspects in The Hague.
