jeffwc Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Hello all, I'm new here-- not quite sure where else to go-- and am wondering if anyone can steer me in the right direction. I am looking for blogs written by US Soldiers either in Iraq, or who have returned home from Iraq. Certainly there are no shortage of them out there, but what I am looking for, specifically, are: -visceral, and preferably specific, accounts of military operations (Do not need to be technical) -blogs maintained by injured or amputee soldiers -blogs maintained by parents of soldiers, who have changed their opinion on the war based on their child's experience -anything particularly well-written or evocative Barring that, suggestions for popular forums where it would make more sense to ask this sort of thing would also be extremely helpful. Everything I've found so far is pretty inactive. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Jeff Quote
jbg Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Are you looking at it from an antiwar point of view? Quote Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone." Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? The mantra of "world opinion" or the views of the "international community" betrays flabby and weak reasoning (link).
