Canada cutting back oas?

I read that this government wants to cut people's oas payment. Apparently we are overspending at an astonishing rate, and the government wants to claw back the money by squeezing old people. I guess it might only add up to pittance, compared to the ever- deeper hole into which our government pours billions upon billions. 

So, no audit no restructure the bureaucracy, just squeeze you. And it will hurt you much more than it helps the government pay its bills.
