Dear Black Dog,

A very good post.

Pre-emption is validated when one hears an overt threat, especially with witnesses. Right or wrong, though, that is one we haven't sorted out yet.

I have a new religion I am starting up, "The Church of Sh*t Happens', our first diocese will be called "Our Lady Of Perpetual Cynicism".

Just Kidding.

Would the Special Olympics Committee disqualify kids born with flippers from the swimming events?

additionally, if you look at all the arguments that are simliar to preemption the US has made, such as supporting iraq against iran, supporting iran against iraq, supporting bin ladens crew and so on.

the spin guys can always convince the population its all good and clean, but decades later when the files and declassified and the international organizations figure out all the covert CIA actions, the US acts just as bad as any second rate international bully.

its costing america 1 Billion a week, adn even the rich US cant keep that up for years

How much would it cost if a Nuclear weapon was detonated in Paris, London, Tel Aviv or New York I wonder. Talk about a worldwide depression.

A Billion a month is a steal.

I missed his answers. Can you reiterate?

if i'm not mistaken the much anticipated Kay report will have no evidence of WMD, and even sparse evidence of programs, but it will document evidence of "possible intent" or something like that.

Dear KK,

How much would it cost whom?

Yes, I believe people over the world would be depressed, for a time.

The entire planet Lonius. Just say, London was hit with a nulear weapon do you for a second think that with a million people dead in a second from terrorists that a newly wed couple in Paris are going to be thinking about buying a refrigerator or survival rations? The economy would crumble in the western world. Followed by the third world that depends on the first world. It wouldn't matter, New York, Ottawa, Bejing. Just knowing they had it and did it would change the world in a way never dreamed of.
