Does cussing lead to not having a good vocab?

We were all raised on South Park and Quentin Tarantino who I respect. Having said that when we want to use a non cuss word to describe let's say the penis, alot of us only know the cuss words for it. Most of us wouldn't think of using the term groin or private parts. Has cussing in film lead us down this path or am I way off?

I grew up in slums. People were blue collar and many were uneducated. 

I mean, seeing 6 year olds cursing, was the norm.

I curse like a sailor, but clean the language up when am around more white collar people or in professional settings. 

I am inappropriate. I make no apologies about it. My wife eerily loves this about me, as will address the elephant in the room.

If some feel it makes me dumber, well, tough s***, and f******.
