fellowtraveller Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 to place $700,000 in trust to repay taxpayers for money stolen by the Party from Canadian taxpayers? As I recall, this promise was made repeatedly by Scott Brison in the House on the day of the non-confidence vote before Parliament recessed in June. The Opposition hammered away that day on this topic much of the day of the vote. Does anybody know? Has any money been repaid to us by the Liberal Party of Canada? Is the money being held in trust and by whom? Quote The government should do something.

Freshinit Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 The money will be placed in a fund when the Gomery commision is complete. You can't determine who frauded what money, so money will be allocated according to Gomery's verdict. Quote
