Nukes for Canada

What the hell do you guys need nukes for? I'm an American, people hate us. If a terrorist organization gets hold of a suitcase nuke what do you think they will use it on? Washington or Ottawa? In major American airports they sell Canadian flags because when Americans go abroad they get spit at or shivved. But if they think we're Canadian they don't care.

Nukes are expensive. You can spend money on better things you'll never use. If you were attacked do you think the US wouldn't do anything? There are millions of Canadian-Americans who would demand we protect you. Hell, you don't even need an army! (Do you have an army?)

American invasion of Canada? Wouldn't happen. Period. There are too many Canadian-Americans who wouldn't stand for it and not enough reasons to take you out. If you did make us mad enough I'm sure it would be settled without us invading you.

If we did invade you, for whatever reason: Sorry, you are screwed! We have the most modern army and spend hundreds of billions of dollars every year to stay that way. There isn't a place on Earth we can't go and blow stuff up. And you are in our own backyard.

So lets say that you got a nuke. So what if you used a nuke on us? WE HAVE THOUSANDS!!! WE COULD MAKE CANADA SINK IF WE WANTED TO!!! EVER HEAR OF THE BIKINI ISLANDS? We used one small bomb on that place and now the island is gone. Its a charred rock that won't be inhabitable for thousands of years.

So let me summarize this as a fan of Canada and your gravy covered fries. YOU DON'T NEED NUKES!

I think money for nuclear weapons would be better used to solidify, re-equip and beef up our currently underfunded and undermanned military.
