Israel inches closer to compromise on Iran uranium enrichment, officials say

Though Israel has been expressing zero flexibility regarding a possible deal with Iran, Defense Minister Ehud Barak a few weeks ago issued a written statement that Israel would consent to Iran's continuing enrichment of uranium to a low level of 3.5 percent, as well as to allowing a few hundred kilograms of 3.5-percent enriched uranium to remain in that country.

Some in Israel hint it can live with nuclear Iran: "[if Iran] realizes its nuclear ambitions there is an additional possibility: Israel will internalize, willingly or not, that it is also possible to live in the region alongside a nuclear Iran."

this is a major development and further evidence that the war drums were just that, drums beating in order to put further pressure on iran and as many have suggested to take away attention from israel's internal problems and the world's focus on the palestinian issue. since natanyahu has come to power, the illegal jewish settlements in the west bank and east jerusalem have not increased at a faster pace.
