tango Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 What utter drivel being spewed. So you contention is Harper loves the U.S. and he had to ditch the Canadian media and tell them not to follow him or pay attention to where he is and what he is doing? And if ever does answerer questions in Canada, you get only two questions in each language. And that is why it is pointed out that this is a strategy to avoid answering questions in Canada. And Chretien granted media interviews to media outside of Canada as part of that strategy? Interesting that we are not allowed to know what Harper is saying to the US. The man does not grasp that he works for us! Quote My Canada includes rights of Indigenous Peoples. Love it or leave it, eh! Peace.
Argus Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 (edited) What utter drivel being spewed. Calm down. Don't get so angry and upset. So you contention is Harper loves the U.S. and he had to ditch the Canadian media and tell them not to follow him or pay attention to where he is and what he is doing? And if ever does answerer questions in Canada, you get only two questions in each language. My statement was that the Liberal party has used the anti-American card, playing up to that crowd in order to score political points. Do you deny that? My contention is that this is exactly what you are doing here. And that is why it is pointed out that this is a strategy to avoid answering questions in Canada. You can insinuate that this is his strategy, but making it a statement in a news item would require something more than you suspicion or bias. At least, it would if you were a professional. I actually went to the Canadian Press web site, where they have an inquiry box about news stories, and asked them what supported that statement, which I regarded as a personal opinion. They haven't gotten back to me. I doubt they will. Not good for your heart, you know. My statement was that the Liberal party has used the anti-American card, playing up to that crowd in order to score political points. Do you deny that? I do. That's why I say you spew drivel. My contention is that this is exactly what you are doing here. And my contention is that you are an angry guy. I actually went to the Canadian Press web site, where they have an inquiry box about news stories, and asked them what supported that statement, which I regarded as a personal opinion. They haven't gotten back to me. I doubt they will. Maybe they were threatened by your anger. Quote
