It is my belief that the current incumbent is an extreme right-wing politician who is trying to "whitewash" his past and he must be stopped from continuing to hold power in our government.

Extreme Right-Wing politicians (ie. extremists) is something that is more appropriately applied to the likes of fascists/neo-Nazis. Sweet is a Conservative, but not an "extremist". (Incidently, extremists like the Nazis practices euthenasia, which is more along the lines of what radical feminist pro-abortion types want.)

That aside, you are a complete and utter fool trying to gain support for the Greens by referring to an oppenent as a bigot, hate-mongerer, and misogynist ("A vote for him is a vote for bigotry, hate-mongering, misogynism"). The guy has a wife and kid, and I doubt that you can really find any evidence to substantiate any of your claims.

Moreover, by "David Sweet led a national religious think tank group that is pro-life"--don't you mean CHRISTIAN? God knows, that you would NOT be making an issue of this were he a Catholic, let alone a Jew or Muslim. Evangelical Christians have as much right to participate in Canadian politics than people of any other faith.

My god that is frightening, if the evangelists were half as bad as the enlightened left, imagine what they would do to keep Scott Brison out of office, but nothing.

Man the pro lifers must walk around with pretty heavy hearts knowing this is what they are up against. I am not religious, but I remember my Grandmother who was a good christian woman, as she would have said it, who was extrodinarly tolerant of everything and everyone, how did it come to this?

There are lots of Christians who do not hold those extremist views.

You can't use Christianity to hide the extremism. The extremism stands by itself.
