Does anyone work with or know someone who works with any active Canadian charities and non-profits? Especially ones that cater to families in need? I'm working on behalf of Payless ShoeSource to help spread the word about there Payless Give Shoes 4 Kids program. We are attempting to partner with Canadian non-profits and charity organizations to help us deliver more than $1.2 million worth of free children's shoes to children of families in need this holiday season. I don't know how Rio is going to be able to build an entirely new infrastructure for these Olympics. From what I've read, the IOC is demanding that they build an entirely new mass transit system. That's a tough task to pull off.

I've started to carry a bottle of Purell with me since I ride the Metro to work. I read that it's a great way to keep yourself protected. Hopefully I will be able to find the H1N1 vaccine soon. There are waiting lists where I live.

I don't know when it's coming but the seasonal flu has already ravaged my office. I've seen on the news that they aren't quite sure when the vaccine is going to be readily available, which is scary.
