It sounds like you agree, that tightening up the criteria is a good idea, but you don't think the Conservative Government has the required characteristics to do the job. Let me guess, the Liberals who continued to fund it without changes for eleven long years has all the required qualities to fix their mistake now. Allowing Canadians to keep their own money through tax cuts could only be described as "squandering" by a Liberal, ( including NDP as Liberals ). That surplus was created by over taxing hard working Canadian citzens, it was used as a winfall by the previous Liberal government, but it was never theirs to "squander" although they did.

I must inform you that facts are not reached by concensus. Science is not a democracy. Think back throughout history all the times the " concensus " was wrong, or changed their minds. The earth isn't flat, the Sun doesn't go around the Earth, there wasn't a coming ice-age in the mid 70s,etc...

There is a difference between dealing with a nutcase that is born here and importing the problem. We have no Choice but to deal with homegrown nutcase's, and I'm sure there is no shortage of them. Given the Choice to import nutcase's or not, I cannot believe anybody is on the yes please side. You have to admit that that is what happened in this case. Assuming you did agree, You must then admit that the problem is in our immigration system. This doesn't mean it is easily fixed, but it does mean the problem exists.

I joined this forum today, but already I have noticed a trend with you. I encourage everybody to check my claim. You think that by calling other subscibers "extreme",or "right wing" that you have made a point. My or anybody else's political leanings are not "points" or "facts", nor are they in anyway relevent to a discussion.

I agree this will give an economic advantage to other countries, I also do not know how this will save the planet.

Why wouldn't the Liberals discuss a knife registry, I'm sure it would work as well as their assinine gun registry.

Thats not crazy at all. It is completely logical to try to prevent lunatics from killing you. She didn't say that nobody should ride on transit, skydive, or go to the moon. Nice try on changing the subject. Every thing possible is being done to make space travel, and skydiving safe, why is it illogical to want the same for bus travel.
