  1. Is fifteen years considred a rational parameter?

As for "cutting the mustard in the country they were kicked out of"...well, this is a rare moment where I'm at a bit of a loss for words.

    Astonishing.

Astonished you are picking on David to sell everything and move. Why should he stop there, he should relocate to another Country according to you and your brother in arms, falsemetis. Winners and those who are the success and cream of any society don't uproot and move to another country. Only the social outcasts, rejects, losers, the cowards run to another country. They couldn't cut the mustard where they left, so now Canadians are so lucky to have these rejects trying to make Canada in their loser image.

Fifteens years is the span of Canada's journey into this multicultural crap society. Quite rational.

  2. :) Yep.

Perhaps we're to think it should all be based on the length of lineage. A fifth-generation Canadain is somehow "more Canadian" than a second-generation Canadian, and so on.

In which case, of course, Native people should get first pick.

    :)

I doubt we are talking of any generation of Canadians. We are talking about the ones who couldn't cut the mustard in the country they were kicked out of and have set up shop in Canada in the last fifteen years.

  3. NO I was calling him out on his hyprocritical statement that the immigrants should have to move again when David is the one who can't find work. David apparently gets a free pass.

Calling me out?? I have to call you out on your treasonous unpatriotic attitude and your grudge towards your Canadian brothers.

What kind of person puts the world before their own countrymen. Yes, as I said, the followers of Evil.

  4. Germany-The political background to the introduction of the new immigration law being, that Germany for the first time ever acknowledged to be an "immigration country". Although the practical changes to the immigration procedures were relatively minor, new immigration categories like the ones for highly skilled professionals and scientist have been introduced to attract valuable professionals for the German labour market.

France-There has however been a streamlining of procedures for entry of professionals and group-level transfers to France. France has recently opened its borders to foreign (non EU) workers via a

    number of recent reforms.

I could go on but it's obvious your wrong again(and these are the two countries you claimed to have visited and know so much about...every country wants professionals and skilled workers, what the EU needs less of than it did in the past is unskilled workers, with expansion of the EU they have more then enough eastern europeans to now fill those positions...

every country wants India's science grads, highly trained and it doesn't cost the host country a cent...

one poster in India that's real convincing evidence you've supplied....

hoe countries determine qualification is irrelevant and once again you're wrong, a simple web search shows the UK has a points system as well...

as I've demonstrated only when you make things up which it seems is often...you know bugger all about immigration..

you've been wrong on every point why trust you?...I think not...

You realize there is a difference to a work permit and citizenship right? As soon as someone gets off the "boat" they are created as equal Canadians. No country does this. In other countries it takes years to earn that status.

  5. The British and French weren't immigrants ? There weren't migrants moving from province to province ?

British and French were as much immigrants as someone moving From British Columbia to Nova Scotia. In anycase Canada's population in 1980 was roughly 20 million. Through Immigration mostly, the population has been ramped to 34 million. Spin or your history rivisionism all you want. As spock, would say, it's most illogical.

  6. When someone stands on the fact that the country owes them something, they should note that the country was built by immigrants and, importantly, migrants from region to region.

Canada was an extension of France and a result of British Settlement polices. Immigration is a phenomenom of the last 30 years. Spin your new reality it doesn't jive with historical fact.

  7. I hope you don't discuss your work ethic this way in interviews.

Your story is starting to sound puffed-up to me. How would you know the race and gender of all those people who got hired instead of you ?

Actually, I was sent over by an employment agency to interview for a position related to my work of interest. I have a college program and work experience related to the position. In the interview, the interviewer said they had a number of new entrants to Canada working for them and they recently hired one a few weeks before. For some reason I didn't get the position.

I have reason to regard HR & Hiring Managers as scum of the earth. Proof is in the observation. I have seen it on numerous occasions and I have experienced it.

  8. In human relations, the people with the power and the money make the decisions. Elementary truisms 101.

The employers make a choice. Choices have consequences, for good, bad, both, or neutral.

But they are making choices. They don't HAVE to do what they do.

And the Employer is choosing to hire immigrants over Canadians. They do this to degrade work environments and repress pay. Elementary Canadian Truisms 101.

  9. You mean, how could someone possibly disagree with whowhere.

Again: the immigrants have not driven down wages. The employers have driven down wages. The immigrants do not come in and strong-arm employers to pay them LESS.

If there is fault here, it is the employers' fault.

    100%. Not the immigrants.

In a market economy, an over supply (onslaught of immigrants) represses prices. Economics 101.

  10. you really don't have a clue about the facts in Canada and now you're spreading BS about somewhere you've never been B)

Really, I suggest you investigate. Immigrants/Temporary workers/work permits are only entitled to work. They get no credit and usually end up living in high rise complexes made up of like workers. After maybe 6 or 7 years of work they are eligible to apply for landed resident to citizenship status. That is how real countries operate. Canada is guilty of making being a citizen worthless except for the immigrants who are getting a life at Canadians expense.

In the world of conjecture there is no such thing as a free lunch.

BTW, Yes I have been to both Germany and France.

  11. whowhere's utter hatred for immigrants is quite disconcerting. You can almost feel the hate as a palpable thing radiating out from your computer screen while reading his posts.

Our immigration policy could definitely use examining, but the problem lies with our government and its policies, not with the immigrants, who, for the most part, immigrate because they are looking for a better life.

Really? If there is hate, it would not be towards the immigrants. If you have read my posts, you would find boomer garbage in the mix as well. Canada stands alone on its abuse of its people with its policis on immigration. I suggest Canada step back and look at what other Countries are doing before pandering any further.

  12. It's not much different really, a very similar price...it is though, very difficult to get an apartment...All Manitoba cities have a vacancy rate of under 1%. Rent control is partly to blame.

    Is it?

You are noob and wet behind the ears to life. What do you know? Governments and builder conspiracy purposely avoid building high resident construction( apartments) in favor of homes. The lifecycle of hise rise construction is Condominium. After a period it is converted to apartments. Vacancy of whatever is contrived and conspired. Don't ever think, or believe diffent. Canada is not about nuturing life its about sucking blood from a stone.

  13. Not bad. I think it's a bit higher than Winnipeg, but still below average for cities across Canada. There are of course other rural choices even here with a lower cost of living. Up until recently, I worked at a job that took me to many different manufacturing plants. Immigrants made up the bulk of the workforce at all of the plants...because no one else is willing to do the work.

    BS

  14. actually lets make this clear, every western industrialized country is doing exactly what Canada is, Germany, France, Japan, Netherlands, Sweden every country is relying on immigration to offset low birth rates...only the USA is replacing it's population and growing without immigration but still it wants immigrants for the same reason as every other country, growth....economies are tied to a system of continual growth to function that's the reality , deal with it...

The difference is, in Germany and France, Immigrants get nothing. Immigrants genuinly get the jobs they don't want. Immigrants don't get credit to buy anything and they certainly are NOT looked at as citizens. Why should I accept your BS to propogate immigrants at the expense of Canadians.

  15. supply and demand, logistics, labour force, raw material sources...see any auto plants in western Canada, no? why do you think that is?...see any oil production in Quebec why do you think that is?...how is that hydroponic cucumber business doing in NFLD? failed! why is that?

corporations like Maple Leaf obviously have more sense than you otherwise they'd all be out of business...

Take away the import labour, and they will change their tune.

  16. Again lets make this clear. Canada is literally the ONLY country that is actively doing this to it's population. That's because our country is one big pyramid scheme. Whatever keeps the Liberal political machine running is what matters. And the Conservatives supporting EVEN MORE coming in order to gain some sort of political points is CRAZY.

Evil Followers beget more evil followers.

  17. that is a free market, supply and demand...product is too expensive, make it cheaper or better or go broke..too many fishermen then retrain, too many butchers, retrain..the good get jobs those who aren't retrain or get kicked to the curb...

Nice dodge! You claim the technology doesn't exist which it does. You are fine with them importing workers to help mapleleaf's business. If they have to resort to importing workers rather than invest in technology, they can relocate their operations to where there are people who will do the work.

  18. That his/her point has to be qualified with "of sorts" clearly indicates that the Bible's not consistent.

If you are talking of me, the bible weaves an allegorical tale. Is it consistent in some regards, yes. Is it contradictory in other places yes. Is there a theme, yes. Are you looking for perfection? I suggest you read the book of job. In there you will find that God doesn't claim to be perfect and in it, it will demonstrate with reason and rightous actions that God will alter his actions. The bible is a hoop, you jump the hoops, perhaps this god will listen to you, and parlay you further in the realm of life. This book also is a warning. I could careless whether you are an atheist or whatever if you are being true and logical. Good luck finding that in people. <_<

Being arbitrary is not being intelligent.

  19. BS..the most automated system in the world in Denmark still requires humans to cut the meat...if MapleLeaf like any corporation thought it could save money by automation it would do so as much as possible, profit is always the bottom line...coincidently the Danish plant has about the same number of employees as the Brandon plant...

In case you haven't been paying attention they are regions of Canada that have high unemployment. If the technology does not exist, they can set up shop in those regions. I will await how you worm yourself out of this one.

  20. half of Alberta are migrant Canadians or immigrants, few people like to leave the safety and comfort of the world they know but that's what you do if you must, if the work isn't where you are then you need to go to where the work is...I compete for work with immigrants everyday that's just the way it is I have to be better or cheaper or both than my competition or I don't get the work...

and isn't that the right wing way? a free market economy?...how ironic me a pinko, leftist, socialist, tree hugging, commie, immigrant is accepting the right wing ideal...

The labour market is not a free market. The market is saturated by immigrants looking for employment. Employers are keen on this fact. The real unemployment rate is not 8 or 9 percent. The real unemployment rate is upwards toward 30 percent. That is government and political party failure of monumental proportions. The only way for Canada to be righted is through a heavy hand. In these times, Government departments have to be contracted and Revenue Canada expanded. Tax Agents have to be vigilant and investigate small and large businesses alike to identify the cheaters. Afterwhich, a revised tax system will surgically target these businesses cheating costs and giving them an unfair advantage over legitimate businesses doing the right thing.
