The middle is fertile ground and the Liberals could rise up again if they modernize themselves and stop running campaigns like it's the 1980s.
They need a new vision - not a camera-friendly non-thinker, and not a professorial egghead who can't relate. Somebody who can relate to the middle - who has worked and knows how to address concerns of Canadians.
Mostly, they should look at redesigning government to deliver services better (more cheaply and efficiently, and with responsiveness) without cutting them.

ABC , NBC , CBS, FOX , CNN , etc all have similar rules when it comes to on air talent donating to political campaign's . You can donate but you MUST clear it with management first and this is the rule Olbermann broke . Several people at MSNBC made donations to political campaign's including Joe Scarborough but they cleared them with management first .
I believe the fact that Olbermann's ratings dropped 44 % year over year has much more to do with his demise then anything else . I understand NPR has a opening perhaps he could drag his act over there .

Yeah Bob Rae did a great job here in Ontario . Miller pissed so much money away its sickening . The parking meter disaster alone cost some where over 20 million .

Only 1 in 39 blacks have a post secondary education . Considering Obama has only attended church 4 times in the last 3 years and who his previous minister was i doubt he would score well on this survey either .

With over 41 million blacks in America who are for the most part poorly educated and overwhelmingly Christian a study like this could be easily skewed by just over sampling this demographic .

Lets try to leave out if a person is gay, white, black, purple , man, woman etc.. out of a reason to/not to, vote for a person.
First being gay is not like being black and saying it is insults black people . According to Stats Can only 1 % of the population is gay and most Canadians still believe homosexuality is aberrant behavior . Being gay is a very good reason not to vote for someone just like you may not want to vote for a schizophrenic .

The mayor hands out the power so he has the power of many . Giorgio Mammoliti just came around and i see more behind him . If Ford wins by double digits and he will the city will be " nudged " in the right direction .
