The problem with funding all faith based schools becomes not only that of money and draining students and resources away from the public system, but where do you draw the line? Will the province fund Church of Scientology, Wiccan or other less popular religions? The province would have to or face a Charter of Rights and Freedoms challenge. I am surprised that they did not already. Funding the Catholics and not any other group must be unconstitutional. If the Tory funds all other religions won't he then be forced to fund Atheist systems? That won't sit well with the unclean masses. The fairest and most Canadian way would be to only fund one system...the public system. If you don't like the public system you are free to start your own..but don't expect us to pay for it.
