  1. Canada is a metis soceity and any culture it may have comes from that.

    Interesting

A frenchman screws an indian and we get a metis culture across canuckleland - that means I must be one too

Where do I line up for the govenment hand outs?

We have been giving out freebies for generations - time some of us who really do pay taxes can get some of that too.

  2. At least you've cryptically admitted that you're one of those who does'nt have the courage to come out and say what you think. The bigots like Lictor are'nt that dangerous becasue they put themselves out there and can be dealt with.

The cowardly pukes who put on the mask and smile cordially at their "different" neighbour, but mutter the same epithets under their breath are the real problem....

    Hmm.....

Free insults come and get them

What exactly do I think? How would you even come close to imagining or knowing?

Not so sure I am a cowardly puke - I am not even sure why you would believe I am one who would not say what I think - in fact I was pretty sure I did.

I do however think canuckleland is going downhill and I believe it will get worse - if only because I am seeing people become a lot more angry. Do you believe it is just the whites who nod cordially at their new neighbour - or is it colour across the board?

You obviously read me very wrong but that is fine - send more insults my way - I do not even live in Canada right now - left it a couple years ago - just have the usual business and financial connections left behind. In fact I make a lot of money from canuckleheads - pay some serious taxes and take as much out of the country as I can. Following all the rules to the letter - I break none - but I manage to get substantial monies out for investment elsewhere.

You might be surprized at what I really do for a living but that is fine - I have cash, homes and a good family life - far removed from most troubles.

You on the other hand appear to be ready to jump on every imaginary between the line comment - what makes you think I was stating anything other than what I wrote?

Because I can assure you I had no hidden motive in my response - despite your thoughts.

  3. I have been following the media coverage on Ignatieff's great Canadian summer tour. Ignatieff says he wants to win Canadians over, "door by door, handshake by handshake, baby by baby". But, by his own admission, it might kill him.

Seems any time I read about iffy and his tour - the son of that traitor - trudeau - gets as much or more press coverage.

The messiah comes and he has a solid silver spoon background - never had to work a day in his life or to worry about a single utility bill - and his daddy's name to help - therefore he will be the leader - after all he is a trudeau and he must be the best - the media loves him and the canuckleheads believe anything that is printed about him.

Screw iffy - yesterdays news - time for him to go back to his home to the US of A

  4. A Palestinian man has been convicted of rape after having consensual sex with a woman who had believed him to be a fellow Jew.

When she later found out that he was not Jewish but an Arab, she filed a criminal complaint for rape and indecent assault.

    The Guardian

    Hmmmm.......

She must have been blind considering the usual physical difference once he dropped his pants.

Sounds a bit fishy to me

  5. Fine but my taxes don't have to support it.

Now, now - that would not be the entitled canucklehead way. You need to share your taxes so that some who claim poverty can eat and others can claim they will take them out of poverty through the creation of jobs.

You absolutely MUST stop thinking logically - it will make me think there are at least a few people on this worthless board who have at least a bit of a small brain

  6. Here's the proposal:

Much of the problem for Canada's long wait times and lack of GP's is that many Canadian doctors (and nurses) have left to work in other countries for more money, most notably the U.S (aka the "brain-drain"). This is quite ridiculous & not fair to taxpayers since taxpayers subsidize all these doctor's lengthy/expensive educations, then they skip south for more money while Canadians are left with a weaker healthcare system.

So to discourage this, and to even encourage more people to become doctors, how about taxpayers/government offer to pay for the entire education of any medical doctor provided they finish school and stay in the country to work. If they leave to work in another country permanently (or for a prolonged period) they have to pay back their education tuition.

There can be variations/tweaks to this (ie: maybe after working for 15-20 years in Canada a doctor could be free to leave with no payback etc.), but this is the general idea. Thoughts?

Just keep all the money that goes to various regimes around the world and use it in our own house first - whatever is left over - and nothing more - can go to help those that have for centuries refused to help themselves

Perhaps a bit less taxation would come from this - and we might see some additional improvements in our own health care.

In the end we would likely see your idea bastardized and every third world "student" coming here to - yet again - benefit from my tax dollars. I believe your idea would be completely twisted by someone calling it a discriminatory policy. Our luck they would also disappear into the wood work - never to return to their own country.

Allow doctors to open a "fee for service" office and you have solved your problem.

Oh, wait a minute - that would solve many problems but canuckleheads will not allow it.

So we will continue to train the doctors and nurses and we will continue to see many leave.

    Typical.

  7. (link to article)

The Bacon brothers are drug thugs and their targets were also drug thugs. Some would suggest that the best thing would be to give the Bacon boys a fresh clip of ammo and tell them to get back to work. If it was just another of Vancouver's ongoing strings of drug gang assassinations, I doubt people would give it much thought, but in this case it sounds like they killed people who weren't actually involved in the drug war, so they're in for it.

    However...

    ...you can't do that.

That they "accidentally" monitored his communications with ranks with "I didn't realize the tazer went off 5 times". If the RCMP want to get people's respect again, they should stop saying stupid crap and start obeying their own rules.

    -k

Look - the fact is the people of BC have a say in the legal aspects of the province. Do they exercise it? Apparently not. To blame the courts - as you did in the title of the thread - only highlights the true problem in BC - the people of the province are soft in the head.

Quit your bitching about the system and do something about it

  8. Funny thing is, 168,000 people didn't complete the last census and to my knowledge nobody was charged or fined - just a few that were hounded a little bit. That seems an awful lot like a voluntary census......and now that everyone KNOWS that you won't be charged, it would become even less mandatory - or more voluntary. I just thought I'd open a poll to see where people stand. In addition, it seems that other countries are starting to make do with other means.

I have never completed a census and never intend to

They get everything they need from me after my accountant sends them the cheque at the end of our fiscal year. Right to the penny.

I know many that are the same as me

Government has no right to enter my house

Too many people around the world have died to prevent government interference in their lives - only canuckleheads invite the government into their house - freedoms are being eroded and no one cares.

Limp dicks think the census will always be a good thing - each year it gets more intrusive - slow and steady ....

    Borg

  9. So many canuckleheads here actually believe the census is a good thing

    Nanny staters with entitled attitudes.

Governments do not belong in any persons house - all the info they need can be taken from the taxation forms.

Not too many independent thinkers here - just a lot of sheep

Truly disgusting - no wonder canada is going down hill

  10. Interesting story from the Star:

    From the Star?

This is probably far more interesting and true than anything you will ever read about in the Star.

As for quoting the Star - well ......

A Harley Biker is riding by the zoo in Toronto when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the collar of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents.

The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.

Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly. A reporter has watched the whole event.

The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, 'Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I've seen a man do in my whole life.'

The Harley rider replies, 'Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger and acted as I felt right.'

The reporter says, 'Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a journalist, you know, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page...

So, what do you do for a living and what political affiliation do you have?'

The biker replies, 'I'm a Metro Police officer and a Conservative.'

    The journalist leaves.

The following morning the biker buys the paper to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on the front page:

    COP ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT

    AND STEALS HIS LUNCH

That pretty much sums up the Toronto Star's approach to the news these days

Hope you can take the time to chuckle over the hijack

    Have a good one

  11. Canada's left-wing claim Stephen Harper would impose an neo-con hidden agenda if he were to win a majority. Why is the left so against this? Wouldn't it benefit them long-term if Harper imposed all this evil in 5 years. Canadians would be so upset at this hidden agenda that they would never vote CPC for decades, thus insuring Liberal dominance.

He must be evil - the left have been telling us that for years

He must be scary as well, although I have not seen him called that for a while now

    Borg

  12. That is hardly accurate. The RCMP is pretty much still struggling with racism within its ranks.

    Discrimination finding against RCMP upheld

RCMP officers sue force, allege racism

    These are not isolated cases....

I was not looking to jack the thread - so back off and tell us another story

Like - to joint eh RCMP a few years ago you went to the top of the pile - but only if you were an indian

Fact is federal and provincial jobs go to those who have colour (white is not considered a colour any more - unless it is to be something bad) rather than quality many times

In the end I applaud this lady for making it an issue - it takes a bit of guts to do this - I am sure she will be receiving hate mail as soon as her email is leaked

  13. Youtube Palestinian propaganda videos prove nothing.

By the way, if their situation is so bad, they should get off their asses and make some food and shelter for themselves instead of waiting for handouts. And that's just the libertarian in me talking, has nothing to do this particular conflict.

They wanted their own space and Israel gave it to them.

How much money do they spend on making weapons - try making peace and opening up trade.

Even the Egyptians do not want them - that should tell you something about who is the trouble maker

That will all change when the attitudes in Gaza change

    If indeed they ever do.

"When they were about to leave Sunday night, the British government refused to give them visas because the U.S. State Department wouldn't guarantee that they would let them back in without American or Canadian passports. The Iroquois national team has traditionally been allowed to use native passports."

I seem to remember one poster here on MLW who some time ago had insisted that native passports were valid and internationally recognized. I also was surprised to see that apparently Britain is the main problem in this instance!

Gee, couldn't someone just wave a copy of The Silver Covenant Chain Treaty at them and clear all this up?

    LOL!

    Too funny

Accept the benefits but not the passport. LOL

    Time to stay home then

  15. I've been doing some research on the long-gun registry. The Liberals claim that the long gun registry gets hit 9 to 11 thousand times a day. I found this to be a fact.

However, if I get pulled over for a routine traffic stop, the police officer will enter my info and the long gun registry will get a hit. That is a fact. It's amazing to me how liberals, and the media don't report the latter fact. Tom Clark, the biased liberal host of Power Play didn't seek the truth when he tried to make the CPC look follish for bill C- 391.

Old news well swept under the carpet by the media - the registry is linked to EVERY inquiry into a person or into a crime or into any criminal search.

CIPIC or whatever it is called now was the first link

Direct searches into the registry are likely under 100 per day

More people get killed by drunks and doctors in this country than guns

Even stats canada has a section - it is called "medical misadventure"

Not too many doctors get charged for those murders
