Tom Flanagan in today’s Globe and Mail [argues for the end of the “per-vote” subsidy given to federal political parties in Canada](http://m.theglobeandmail.com/news/opinions/cut-the-subsidy-then-make-it-easier-for-parties-to-raise-their-own-money/article1252643/?service=mobile&page=0#article).
