Usa Botched The Job In Iraq

Recommended Posts

Like I said before, next year the picture is different. Iraq is tranquil within one year. The end is nigh already for the insurgents - cut off their leaders, their money and their meeting places and they are soon finished.

Officials said the high-value target was captured at his home, where he was apparently having a meeting. All 74 Iraqis were captured at the house in Samarra, about 25 miles (40 kilometers) south of Tikrit, officials said. The suspects were young men of military age, and no women were present, officials said.

Coalition officials described the top man as a midlevel official, a member of the paramilitary group Fedayeen Saddam and a financier of attacks on coalition troops. Officials said they believe he can lead them to some insurgents involved in the attacks.

Coalition officials also said they found 135 pounds of explosives, several mortar rounds, 15 AK-47s, 200 blasting caps and other ammunition and paraphernalia similar to those used in attacks against coalition troops.

U.S. troops have fought off ambushes in Samarra twice this month -- on December 1, when the military said troops killed 54 Iraqis, and Monday, when they killed 11 attackers.

Brig. Gen. Martin Dempsey, commander of the 1st Armored Division in Baghdad, said that Saddam Hussein's arrest Saturday could help U.S. forces search for Iraqi insurgents.

The Dumbocruds - home of the illiterate and the internationalist - will be crushed in 2004.

In fact they might even split into 2 parties - the left wing/Fascist branch will march with arms raised after Dean and Hitlery and the moderate branch will follow Lieberman.

You said it Craig. We already see it happening. Two groups are currently fighting to control the agenda of the Democratic party. On one side, you have the relatively "moderate" side *cough* led by Bill Clinton, Lieberman. On the other side you have the radical left led by Howard Dean, and now Al Gore, who's endorsement of Dean is in essence his declaration of independence from the Clintonistas. Algore is a complete lunatic - ever read Earth in the Balance?

I have a feeling that Al Gore intends to run for pres in 08' and will in fact run to left of Hillary!

You and I know that Hillary is a radical leftist, but she's no fool and she is aware of the direction that Dean is taking the party. She will position herself accordingly.

Either way, the Dems are going to be marginalized for a loooong time. :)

Yes i agree - the Dumbos are illiterate peasants on foreign policy - inexcrably isolationist and profoundly ignorant. Iraq will marginalise them further and as you stated, i feel shall smite them into 2 pieces. They are incapable not only of seeing reality - but they are anti-american and have proven themselves intellectually and morally incapable of running a gas station - let alone the USA.

Funny how the left liberal media has been wrong on every single issue to do with Iraq. Will they start now to apologise ?

No. While they will NEVER apologize, it's interesting to note that network news broadcasts and "mainstream" newspapers (in the US at least) have been hemorrhaging viewers and subscriptions for years. The leftist media is in rapid decline, further evidenced by the increasing shrillness and desperation on their part over the past months/years.
