They've done a darn sight better at integrating than your Jamaicans, Somalians, First Nations and South Asians, certainly far better than their second and third generations. Sorry about that but you have cast too wide a net. I have 2 Immigrated South Asians daughters-in-law. both have had 2 jobs to support themselves, are married to my sons,have children, speak English and have never been on the public tit. Actually I read over it all again and he was not criticizing me in any way(but I did make an error). However he did not carry on as he claimed that he would not let me interfere. So by saying that he "zinged" me,when in fact he was only stating that he would not let me stop him from continuing his comments,indicates that you do not like the comments I post here very much. There were pictures posted here and pretty much all of them looked white. MC Hammer was a one hit, but he at least had that one hit and so you "can't touch dat". Seriously, folks, the forces that best help in integration appear to me to be a fluid and open society. Socialistic societies are more rigid, and have more structure around their class system so it is harder to integrate. I base this on my experience as an immigrant into a socialist country in the 1980s. Official Multiculturalism is really has some effect, I suppose, in terms of PR and setting the tone.
