bearcat
That was over 160 years ago! You weren't even alive then. Let it go, move on. If only it were so easy. Some people thrive on trying to row against the current. Deep down they know they don't have a snowball's chance in Hades but, to themselves, it validates their existence. so what is wrong with shining a light on the truth ... ??? Tsi Nikayen' Enonhne'
She:kon! You can't handle the truth. "Truth" can't be handled. Only lies can. So if you are handling anything is it not the truth. Absolute truth accepts all challenges. It must, or it will be something less than the truth. This would fit nicely into that poem Jabberwocky, you know that part "Twas brillig..." I guess it would have to be changed into Scots though. Anyone care to oblige? yam
Nothing can actually alter a truth. Whatever our opinion is concerning a truth does not effect or alter the truth. At most we can alter other peoples perceptions about a truth but it itself cannot be altered. Foe example the sky is above us regardless of what we think about it. It will continue being that way long after us and our opinions about it.
