Ur quite insane...ya know that?

I know that you are and said so when you pretended Dems would never get elected again.

It is your belief in what the pathological LIAR Trump says, which is INSANE.

The FACT is, I POST EVIDENCE and you POST BULLSHIT.

Correct. I didn't do more than quickly scan your post. In fact, I rarely read or even look at most of your drivel.

Between advanced scrubbing tech and carbon capture and storage, coal generators are actually quite clean now. In fact, they can now be used to reverse localized soil damage.

But that's all gravey to me. The truth is, there will be more electricity generated and the idea drives you Tweenkies lulu. That's enough for me.

"Clean coal" is and always has been an OXYMORON. LMAO

IOW, you don't know what you're talking about as usual.

Quote
Why Many Agree It is an Oxymoron
Critics, environmental scientists, and economists argue the term is misleading for several major reasons: [1]
  • High Energy and Financial Costs: CCUS is incredibly expensive to build and operate. It requires a massive amount of energy just to run the capture equipment (known as an "parasitic load"), meaning you have to burn more coal just to power the cleanup process. [1, 2]
  • Upstream Environmental Damage: Even if a plant could capture 100% of its emissions, the process of mining coal (like mountaintop removal), transporting it, and managing toxic coal ash ponds still causes severe local environmental destruction and water pollution. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
  • Methane Leaks: Coal mining releases significant amounts of methane, a greenhouse gas that is far more potent than CO₂ in the short term. [1, 2, 3]
  • History of Failure: Several high-profile, multi-billion-dollar "clean coal" projects around the world have been abandoned or failed to meet their carbon-capture targets due to technical glitches and soaring costs. [1, 2]
Ultimately, while the technology to reduce emissions from coal plants exists, it does not make the energy source truly "clean" or sustainable. Most climate scientists argue that the quickest and most cost-effective path to decarbonization is transitioning away from coal entirely toward renewable energy like wind, solar, and battery storage. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Have you worked in the industry? Because I have.

Now...take your "Why Many Agree It is an Oxymoron" and get ready to whine about Vance requesting the DOJ to investigate Tampon Tim.

Oops...the other shoe just dropped...
