Mosques in NYC are allowed to broadcast a call to prayer... Friday afternoons, and at sunset during Ramadan. And even those must be in compliance with city noise codes. All established by the previous mayor and rather like the church bells that are allowed on Sunday and special occasions. The hate is from Islam - hate for Christianity, hate for infidels. Islam needs to go. Quote

I tend to agree with Bill Mahr on this one. He says liberalism is the gas pedal and conservatism is the brakes. Liberalism's biggest weakness is that it's vulnerable to shit like leftism, socialism, marxism, etc. 1 Quote

Liberals perform the practical work of transformation. Conservatives are dragged kicking and screaming until they eventually arrive at the destination and then forget what they were so scared of in the first place. Well, at least that's how it's worked historically. At some point, Rush Limbaugh killed conservatism by convincing a LOT of dumb people that "conservative" actually just means the "opposite of Democrat." Which is silly. The groundwork was laid for the politics of spite. Now we have MAGA and it's more radical than the progressives have ever been. You've got it skewed. This is how it is in a nutshell: Liberalism pushes advancement. Progressivism pushes advancement too far. Conservatism smacks the shit out of progressivism and keeps the country intact. I think there used to be small "L" liberalism and I found myself often on their side - gay marriage being legal, LGB not being discriminated against, anti-racism, I used to be "for" immigration, etc. But the last few decades - the small "L" liberals have been taken over. I don't think they exist anymore. They just went full on INSANE, in my opinion. I absolutely, 100% cannot support releasing child molesters, child traffickers, rapists and murderers out into the streets because "they had a bad life" or "are brown". I think if you immigrate to another country and start raping, robbing scamming, killing people on highways because you lied about your trucking license - should be deported. Immediately. On the first offense. Word will spread and criminal types won't even bother applying. They literally let millions of criminals in both Canada and the US. And now they are literally killing themselves in protest of the messy cleanup of their insane actions. They are literally dying in support of child sex traffickers and drug cartel members. I don't understand it. Edited January 29 by Goddess Quote "There are two different types of people in the world - those who want to know and those who want to believe." ~~ Friedrich Nietzsche ~~
