Man you're some piece o' work.

Your own clips here prove my point. The US has been subsidizing windmills and mirrors. Trump is stopping that because it's asinine.

AS STATED, the subsidies for WIND have been CANCELLED. Fossil Fuel subsidies are NOT. Duh

WIND is STILL WINNING ECONOMICALLY..

And as per normal the usual gang of crayon eaters jump to reply.

With their denial of multiple reports every day of this country and that state generating more and more of their power with wind & solar.
They do it because it's useless they say.

The wind doesn't always blow, but having no understanding of a grid can't grasp it's always blowing somewhere. And with their heads buried in a greasy slant 6 missed the part that the alternator makes the electricity and the battery just stores it.

Nobody claimed fossil fuel subsidies are not in place, goofy.

Now boys...a simple question. What is the primary source of energy on earth? If you said "fossil fuels" then you are correct. So at present and for the foreseeable future, fossil fuels are essential to the functioning of the global society.

Now...next simple question. What would happen if governments around the world began making it more difficult and costly, to provide fossil fuels to the population? If you said "prices for everything would rise dramatically" then you are correct.

Now...final question. Is there a good reason why the governments around the world should make it more difficult and costly, to provide fossil fuels to the population? If you admitted that "no there is no good reason to do such a thing" then you are correct.

However...if you said yes, then you are delusional and a hindrance to global society.

Herbie...your insults only prove that you are perfectly willing to be a cause of inflation across the board, in order to satisfy your delusions. To satisfy your apparent need to impose very negative forces on every single person on earth. Thus you are an enemy of the population.

So you... @robosmith...and all the green-haired, whiney, destructive, lyin' little pieces of sh1t, need to cease and decist from imposing your pure, unadulterated chickenshit, on the global community.

Not take your crayons and shove 'em right where the sun dont shine, you disastrous, limp little enemy of humanity.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

You are wrong about fossil fuel subsidies. There is plenty of SCIENTIFIC REASON  to abandon fossil fuels.

Left-wing activists will give us plenty of reasons, but it's all bullshit.

Hey, with an Orwellian government to strongarm entire industries, more and more is ALWAYS doable. ;)

The point is, less and less is what really needs to happen for the simple fact that you diaper dopers want more and more.

Kill the entire industry, just like it says in that article. ;)

You are also funding Energy Industry PR campaigns when you fill your tank.

The article is from a compromised source, no doubt.  You could have addressed that instead of going off on insults.

Wind and solar are products of climate activism - that's the biggest sham of all.

You would do well to remember that.

If it's from a compromised source you should have no trouble refuting it.

But I know that you can't.

Instead you take the usual "why are we even reading this" approach.

Wind and Solar Energy Are Cheaper Than Electricity from Fossil-Fuel Plants

@Nationalist @Deluge AKA DEFINITELY NOT USELESS. Duh

AKA Scientific American beats the shit out of you fossil fuel industry LIES.

Quote

CLIMATEWIRE | Renewable energy doesn't need subsidies to compete with fossil fuels when it comes to building new power plants.

That's a key takeaway in Lazard's annual report on electricity generation costs. The investment bank's report measures the levelized cost of energy for various forms of electricity generation. The report is closely watched, and often criticized, in the energy industry, where it helps guide investment decisions. This year's edition, which was released Monday, is notable because it comes as President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans are trying to eliminate tax credits for wind and solar. The political debate is playing out at a time when energy forecasters are projecting a rapid increase in electricity demand due to data centers and artificial intelligence.

Lazard calculates an energy resource's levelized cost, or LCOE, by dividing a project's lifetime energy production by its cost. This year's report concludes that renewables are the "most cost-competitive form of generation," even without subsidies.

"As such, renewable energy will continue to play a key role in the buildout of new power generation in the U.S," the bank wrote. "This is particularly true in the current high power demand environment, where renewables stand out as both the lowest-cost and quickest-to-deploy generation resource."

Reasonable people: "renewable energy such as wind can be a valuable addition that helps ease the burden on traditional power generation, but the current tecnology cannot replace traditional means at this time"

The left: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YOU JUST SAID YOU CAN"T GENERATE ENERGY FROM WIND!! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
