Guest Warwick Green
I wonder who has more impact - those who play be the rules or those that don't? Citizenship and Immigration Minister Monte Solberg had to be helped by Ottawa police after a group of protesters surrounded him at a downtown church yesterday evening.Mr. Solberg was at the Christ Church Cathedral on Sparks Street to speak to Citizens for Public Justice, a group petitioning to improve the refugee experience in Canada, when people in the audience stood up and began shouting. The protesters, who weren't affiliated with the Citizens for Public Justice, surrounded Mr. Solberg at the podium. Mr. Solberg went out the church's back door. Police arrived, allowing Mr. Solberg to leave the area. No one was arrested. http://www.canada.com/ottawacitizen/news/n...2c-deb0c8788bbf

He ought to be arrested again for his stunt with Solberg, along with all the crack whores and welfare lifers who associate with him. Surrounding a minister and blocking his path is assault, as is blocking his car and refusing to let it leave.

Montgomery Burns
Good find Warwick. I was furious when I read this earlier tonight. However there is a bit more to the story: The demonstrators, who called for an immediate moratorium on all deportations, surrounded Solberg at the podium, and then blocked his exit from the church hall’s front door. When Solberg managed to slip out through the hall’s back door, the protesters followed and circled his car. Police eventually cleared a path for the vehicle. They fight Canadian conservatives, but claim that fighting terrorists is wrong. They think it is acceptable to launch a borderline thuggish and harrassing protest in the sanctuary of a church, but they shriek if Canadian or US people don't respect the sanctuary of a muslim mosque. Reason #15,894 why I have nothing but contempt for liberals, specifically "progressive" liberals. And Monte Solberg had one of the most entertaining blogs in Canada, before he shut it down when he became Immigration Minister. They are on the other side; no ifs ands or buts about it. If I had my way....

And not sure but I think Mr. Singh is an anarchist.
Guest Warwick Green
Good find Warwick I heard it on the CBC - which included some bluster from Singh about wanting to bring the issue to Solberg's attention. Hard to find a print version.
