Yeah but the gun got away. There's an APB out for a metal thingy with that that goes up and stocks get a bump.

This is what passes for good news in USA.  A white supremacist extremist tried to shoot up a school full of black kids but got caught just in time  “We finally caught one!”

This won't get nearly the media attention and that is exactly the problem. 

If you want to trace the root cause of much of the mass shooting craze, look no further than Columbine, and if you want to trace the more recent trend to use AR-15, look no further than the media sensationalization of AR-15s being evil. 

Mass shootings have become a sort of way for these people with mental issues to make themselves famous and notorious, to get whatever sick attention they are craving in their desperate lives.

58 people shot in Chicago in one weekend and they have the strictest gun laws in the country. Zero people shot that same weekend in sever rural states with minimal gun laws. You tell me. Is it the laws that stopped those shootings?
