Liberals hate native born Canadians.... really?   Kind of a weak argument if you're trying to say 'liberals' are giving away all our jobs to TFW's.  When was the last time you've seen line-ups of native born Canadian's clamouring to get those high paying jobs in the fast food restaurants, cleaning hotels, driving taxi/Uber, farming, greenhouses, etc, etc?   If a native born Canadian is looking for a minimum wage paying job they can find it, but your average Canadian isn't looking for a minimum wage paying job.  There is a shortage of labor in those sectors that require minimum wage workers....hence why TFW's are important for business.

I doubt it is as easy for native born Canadians to get those minimum wage jobs.  Many probably only hire foreign workers because they can get away with more.  Foreign workers afraid and won't report violations.

I doubt many native born Canadians want a minimum paying job. I also doubt companies hire foreign workers because they can get away with more. We have workers rights and labor laws.

Labour laws won't help because the system doesn't work like.  There was a case where foreign workers were working in a small sawmill out of town and sleeping in a dirty building until somehow word got out.  But labour laws didn't stop it until they were finally caught.  The system is haywire.  Just like the charter of rights.  Means little unless you have lots of money for lawyers and can wait years for a decision. Even then the ruling may not help.  Too late.

If you are waiting for a charismatic leader like a movie star, the country will go down the drain.  Those are the kind that the Liberals find.  That's why Canada is a mess.

Wow!  You must be completely blind to the disasters Liberals have made of Canada.  Just one subject is the disasterous justice system that catches and releases dangerous offenders that have gone out and killed people.  Liberals put the so-called rights of dangerous criminals ahead of the safety of normal citizens.  You are partly responsible for that.

Not necessary.  PP brings in the votes already, and the more people get to see carney the more they don't think he's up to the job.

The ndp will pick a new leader and the liberal ndp coalition will fall apart. And PP just needs what he's already got to get a majority then,

Yes, exactly....  A leader has to be charismatic which Poilievre isn't.  The facts are that he isn't likeable which is why he had to go to AB and spend $2M of taxpayers money to get his job back.

These are college graduates wondering where they'll start their careers, not which minimum wage paying job they hope to find at Subway.

No, they're people who haven't even finished college wondering how they're going to get by till they do.  they're young people coming out of highshool and thinking about what they want to do in their lives

And they're college grads who now have no work experience applying for their first jobs and getting shot down and who'd love to have something to get started.

They're people who for whatever reason dropped out and are now trying to get their lives turned around and get their GED and some accreditations and need to earn a living till they do.

And a lot of those 'career' positions start with minimum wage entry level jobs that build into higher positions.

Then there's the single moms etc etc etc.

It's all fine for you living in your mom's basement, but in the real world those are real people who need those jobs to get by until they make it.

Your lack of understanding or empathy is horrible.

Well at this stage it's not a hope, it's what's happening.

But frankly hope is what Carney is trading on. He was only able to win by spreading hate and fear thanks to donald, and that bird is leaving the nest very quickly. Carney's actual core support is probably only 28 percent or so and the ndp voters will be heading back home fairly quick.

So carney has to desperately hope there's ANOTHER crisis he can use to lie his way back into power, but this time he'll have a track record to contend with and it's already not pretty.

Trade and infrastructure builds don't happen overnight.  Good to see that new agreements and build -outs to support his mandate are starting to take shape;

But they do fail overnight. And that happened. The first nations have said no, the major pipeline and infrastructure players have said no.

So that's that.  He may talk some companies into smaller projects but nothing like what we need. Those players have literally said they're going to the states.

So, more federal gov't spending we can't afford.  No private money. And no actual details at all, this is an agreement to talk about it

Sigh.  Yeah, that's exactly the kind of useless thing that makes a good announcement but doesn't actually do anything. Perfect example of carney.  well done.

'She hasn't been able to find a job in her field and said she intends to pursue a master's degree'.

"I spent two hours sweeping yesterday, and I have a mechanical engineering degree," said 24-year-old Ben Gooch of Dundas, Ont.

The McMaster graduate is working part-time at a garden centre to cover some of his living expenses, having applied for upward of 100 jobs since December with only a handful of interviews to show for it. "I feel like I'm just throwing darts out at a wall and hoping to get lucky and hit something."

"It is disheartening," said Thivian Varnacumaaran, an electrical engineering student in his final year at York University who estimates that he's applied for 400 to 500 jobs — with no luck — since he started searching in December.

"Long-term earnings prospects are dampened for people graduating during the recession — not because they're not getting jobs, but eventually they fall into a part of the labour market that isn't as high-paying, in types of occupations that they didn't anticipate doing," said Corak.

I understand that, but the only noticeable change in the trends have been with Abacus +2% CPC.  Otherwise the rated as more reliable Nanos and Leger data have remained consistent with +10% - 12% LPC leads.
