Of course we couldn't take on the US. Duh! But you and Cdnfox sound more like a fifth column every day.

Am I still living rent free in your head! I had no idea. I should probably have the place redecorated

Not my definition, dude. It's from The Urban Dictionary, so it must be true, right?

No. That was a weak attempt on their part.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you're talking about a group that's undermining the whole, doesn't that sound like what Trudeau and his LPOC sheeple did?

Divide people by race/religion/vax status, kill our energy sector, cause rampant inflation, import terrorists, force our youths to take a harmful injection, kill freedom of speech, ruin the credibility of our judicial branch....

Clearly we're not going to vote our way out of this mess, the next-best solution is to become a small part of a healthier democracy.

Reading comments on the internet, there are a lot of very delusional people out there.  Usually people that are part of the system and getting a nice fat government pay cheque that love to wave their flag.

All I need to do is look at some of the Bills the government is passing without asking the people. I can bank on-line, so why can I not vote on major issues on-line?

Probably for the same reason I don't gamble online. It's too easy to cheat.

I do. But if you're denying that we've had had 80 years of peace and prosperity then you're incredibly naive or willfully ignorant.

Maybe you have had this blissfully ignorant "peace" while your fellow countrymen participated in martial law 2x, amassing of a couple trillion in debt, decades of battles over such ridiculous socialist programmes such as the Canadian Wheat Board (people went to jail extremely illegally over that one) and watched several brain dead administrations of the Uniparty try to set up 50 + 2 sovereign states with one country.  Your "peace" came on the backs of a lot of Canadian struggles and free access to the largest market on Earth.  And, I am guessing neither you nor anyone from your family served in Korea, Middle East, Bosnia, Somalia or Afghanistan.

Our (Western nations) peace and prosperity came about as a result of of the international banking and trade system set up after WW2. And the decades since have seen good government, by both parties. And why wouldn't we have access to our friendly neighbour's market? It's a mutually beneficial partnership.

What does that have to do with our wealth and peace? Over 99% of Canadian haven't served in the military? Don't know what you're implying.
