One point FIVE Billion she raised?!?!  Not just one billion like we heard?  and STILL went over 20 million?

Jesus tap dancing Christ. That's like something somewhere around $100 per voter. She spent that much, went over that by 20 million, and still somehow managed to get her ass kicked with every demographic group everywhere?

If I were the Democrats I'd be wanting to see where that money was spent and if it actually made it on to advertising or if it's hiding in a slush fund somewhere to be given to her when she leaves politics.

As a conservative, I'm pissed off about fake polling numbers which are used to make it seem as if the Libs' scams weren't that big of a deal, or their poor performances really weren't so bad, etc. "We think this guy is the greatest ever, but don't believe us, look what the polls say! God forbid the economy stays strong and Trump makes the world peaceful again, what can the Demis tell their supporters to get them to open up their wallets next time?

If this Trump administration is as successful as the last one was, the Dems are f_cked.

They need to pray for lots of war and economic hardship, with a bit of fascism, but they can't even obstruct their way to that because they don't have the senate or congress...

This was the really surprising thing. I said a number of times during the campaign that the polling could not be right, poles just don't stay that flat. The truck went up a point harris went up a point, if harris went down a point trump went down a point. It was just getting ridiculous. It would now appear that they were never that close, and i'm seriously doubting if she was ever ahead of him except maybe right at the convention. 

Many of those pollsters aen't dem supporters so i don't know if it was actually an attempt to skew the odds on her behalf (in fact i doubt it) but they obviously thought they were overestimating trump and dialed it back, and turned out he was probably actually that far ahead. 

I haven't seen the breakdown yet to show what percent of dem voters vs rep voters turned out or the like, maybe the dem voters just all stayed home. But there's no doubt the numbers said one thing and reality said "oh hell no...."

500k to Al Sharptons company and 350k to Roland Martin's company for "advertising" before both giving her the softest of softball interviews.

I wonder when ole Sharpton is going to get his ass fired from MSNBC for not disclosing this before the interview he held on their network.

It looks like every one of her "celebrity" endorsements were paid for by the campaign. She spent 100k to recreate the Call Me Daddy podcast studio in a DC hotel room so they could control it. She spent 2.5 million for Oprah to throw her a giant tonguebath astroturfed town hall with some of the cringiest celebrity cameos, who can forget Meryl Streep's accidentily calling her Mrs President.

500 million spent on paid staff, which is insane when you think about it, this was only for 3 months.

There needs to be an investigation on this shit, this smells of a money laundering scheme.

Obviously it's a little soon to say but I honestly believe that there is an excellent chance that the republicans are going to hold power for the next 12 years. 4 years under trump, and if he does a good job and the next person runs on the idea that everything good about trump he incorporates and everything bad about trump he improves on then chances are his successor will win as well. And most people are able to squeak out two terms. It will not be easy but it is certainly doable.

It might be the case that there isn't an awful lot of liberal insiders left by the time they get back into power. And I don't think they have another Barack Obama in the wings who can really capture the excitement of the democrats and give them faith that they will win again.

The other element that really hasn't been talked about that much is there is a massive massive disconnect between what the liberal elite believe the priorities are and what the average person who might vote democrat thinks priorities are. If the party continues to pander to the liberal elite they are not going to win elections. As we saw in this one you cannot spend enough money to convince people that they're really doing well when they're having trouble buying food.
