  1. The drug crisis in BC.  More deaths and no solution.
  2. The failure of the "catch and release" parole system.  In my city the police don't even arrest shop-lifters, they give them a trespass notice.
  3. The SDTC slush fund that spent millions with no tangible results.
  4. The Trans Mountain pipeline which spent $34 billion when TC Energy could build the Coastal pipeline for $15 Billion.  Both lines now exist so $20 Billion is wasted.
  5. The Chamber of Commerce says Canada's falling productivity is a result of not investing in natural resources.
  6. The failure of Canada's climate change efforts because emissions keep increasing.  Taxing essentials (the carbon tax) causes hardship and anger.
  7. Immigration policies that even Trudeau now says were wrong.
  8. Canada's falling stature on the world stage.
  9. Flooding the economy with money (low interest rates) which drove housing prices into a bubble.
  10. Just about everywhere you look.

So what you're saying is you haven't reached a level where you can clearly articulate a point and just intend to randomly spew facts with no thought or reason behind them

You don't think we get enough of that from the nDP?

This is odd, CdnFox doesn't seem to like that you're channeling his fave oft-repeated refrain - vote woke go broke.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

Yes and No.  My first post clearly articulated a point and I was asked for an example so I gave 10.

There's no point in your first post. It was a random statement of opinion without context.

Your second post appears to be a list of talking points again without context

The problem isn't the phrase. The phrase is correct. The problem is just randomly posting it without context. When I use it the context is clear, the argument is well made and detailed. And usually you're crying in a corner having gotten your ass handed to you again :)

I don't approve I just randomly saying crap that has no contact or meaning. We've already got Myata for that

It's not just Trudeau, he's only the puppet.  Canadian voters went woke and then Canada went broke. Broke in every sense of the word.

Complacency of the population has a part in it certainly, but outdated and inept political system plays a big if not the main role as well. Look, in a binary system the reward: the power can come either with a record of great accomplishments and results, or just talking louder, waving hands and drawing more attention than your only, twin competitor. It's the ultimate stage and the environment to raise and nourish empty posturing politics. The twin buddies have to create superficial distinction, ghosts and shadows because in reality there's none: they are equally self-centered, entitled, ineffective have no interest in any meaningful change and long forgot how to make things happen as opposed to throwing buck at them and feed themselves in the process.

That's it. Woke, anti-woke, kill the cap none of that has any rational basis, pure and sheer raising the specter of political contention where in fact there are only two incurably overweight fat-brained twin buddies at their permanent and forever, trough.

If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

CdnFox, I'm sorry you can't understand.

Obviously you're not or you'd explain yourself instead of just posting random nonsense.

If you have a point make it.

I listed 10 examples above.  They're all examples of politically correct government meddling that has resulted in failing to meet the goals.

Your claim was that the voters "went woke" and this is why Canada went broke.

I do not think the voters did anything wrong or differently.   You believe a Conservative government was going to help with point 6 of your list or any other point?

There's a pretty good chance tony here is a bot. First post makes a bunch of talking points without any argument or logic behind it or commentary and then his responses are pretty AI. He doesn't seem to want to actually discuss anything so I think you're probably arguing with a program

Well that's good tho,  they've been depressed since their Tamagotchi toy died and so this will be good companionship for them.

I read that there has been 82 million Tamagotchi toys sold since 2019. Did you get your virtual pet yet? 🤣

I am not a bot and I'm the only one here with enough courage to use my real name and not hide behind a silly alias.

This is a broad topic so when I was asked for examples I listed 9 points where I thought woke (politically correct) thinking had led to failure.  For all the ranting here I don't see anyone challenge a single point I listed.  If all you can come up with is that I am an AI bot then Canada is in more trouble than I imagine.  Come on, pick one of my points and give it your best shot.

It's not a topic. You came here and spouted a buzz phrase and ran off without explaining yourself and now you're mad that people are asking you to explain yourself.

You sound like a boss. I'm about 75% certain that you are. If you're not you're the dallas human being ever born ever anywhere. But hey prove me wrong and actually explain your points and make an argument like a normal human would and I'll apologize.
