So many hoaxes and conspiracy theories spread by Democrats and their supporters. Why should a rational person take them seriously?

Serious question. Why should Democrats be taken seriously with how many conspiracy theories end up getting debunked over time?

Its easy, by the time they are debunked its too late and either they have achieved their goal or they have gaslit enough people that even when debunked they refuse to accept it as being debunked.

If you get people to believe someone is bad you can tell them anything and they will believe without any physical evidence whatsoever. The media hides behind saying things like allegedly or a source said so that when it comes out to be fake it isn't their fault they were just reporting the news even though they made 0 effort of actually investigating whether it was true or not.

Its just like that soldier that was killed and they ran with the story as if it was true that Trump said "It doesn't take 60 grand to bury a Fing Mexican don't pay it". The media never tried to contact the family or anyone that could of been part of that meeting they just took the anonymous sources word for it and plastered it all over the news.

Yet when they found Hunters laptop they all sat on it because they couldn't "verify" it and it was probably Russian misinformation and did everything they could to shut anyone up who brought it up.

I can't think of anything on the left remotely comparable to birtherism, Qanon, Pizzagate, and the granddaddy of them all, the "stolen election" conspiracy. Conspiratorial thinking is much more prevalent on the right as research has shown.

Shit, the Republicans spread an AI deepfake smearing Tim Walz with sexual abuse allegations from his time as a high school teacher like a week ago. Or the "ABC whistleblower" story from a couple months back.

1. Russiagate wasn't a hoax, it's a fact that Russia interfered in the 2016 election and had contact with the Trump campaign. The lack of a definitive smoking gun doesn't change any of that.

2, 3, 4, and 6 aren't conspiracy theories.

I have no idea wtf most of the rest of this shit is because I'm not plugged into the Fox News Cinematic Universe.

Also forgot about Eric Holder's lies under oath that the US government wasn't spying on American citizens and Harris' lie that she was not the border czar.

The difference between a Conservative "conspiracy theory" and reality is about a year or so

Rational people see them for what they are.

As evidenced by some of the posts in this thread, irrational beings do not realise they are, which in turn exacerbates the irrationality.

Just cause the press labeled Harris "the border czar" does not make it true. Duh

West, meet Paul Manafort, who was working for, and paid by, Russian oligarch Deripaska (friend of Putin) while managing Trump's campaign for "free."

That you don't know about him tells us you ONLY watch FOS LIES.

The fact you don't know that no Americans worked with Russia to influence the 2016 election shows you only watch msnbc..sad

Also, I used to watch CNN on a daily basis until it clicked that they were engaging and peddling conspiracy theories on a daily basis.

They kept telling you the walls were caving in and that the next person would most certainly break the story. But they never did.

Just click bait nonsense 😆

That one is interesting.

There is no evidence that shewwas ever a "border czar" or ever designated as so. if you can prove htta, please do.

It is a classic case of if you tell a lie often enough, it gropes legs and believed to be true even if it is a complete lie. That is a Trump forte.

No, when he worked as Trump's campaign manager in 2016, like I said. Duh

Quote

In February 2016, Manafort approached Trump through a mutual friend, Thomas J. Barrack Jr. He pointed out his experience advising presidential campaigns in the United States and around the world, described himself as an outsider not connected to the Washington establishment, and offered to work without salary.[54] In March 2016, he joined Trump's presidential campaign to take the lead in getting commitments from convention delegates.[55] On June 20, 2016, Trump fired campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and promoted Manafort to the position. Manafort gained control of the daily operations of the campaign as well as an expanded $20 million budget, hiring decisions, advertising, and media strategy.[56][57][58]

On June 9, 2016, Manafort, Donald Trump Jr., and Jared Kushner were participants in a meeting with Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya and several others at Trump Tower. A British music agent, saying he was acting on behalf of Emin Agalarov and the Russian government, had told Trump Jr. that he could obtain damaging information on Hillary Clinton if he met with a lawyer connected to the Kremlin.[59] At first, Trump Jr. said the meeting had been primarily about the Russian ban on international adoptions (in response to the Magnitsky Act) and mentioned nothing about Mrs. Clinton; he later said the offer of information about Clinton had been a pretext to conceal Veselnitskaya's real agenda.[60]

In August 2016, Manafort's connections to former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his pro-Russian Party of Regions drew national attention in the US, where it was reported that Manafort may have received $12.7 million (~$15.8 million in 2023) in off-the-books funds from the Party of Regions.[61]

On August 17, 2016, Trump received his first security briefing.[62] The same day, August 17, Trump shook up his campaign organization in a way that appeared to minimize Manafort's role. It was reported that members of Trump's family, particularly Kushner, who had originally been a strong backer of Manafort, had become uneasy about his Russian connections and suspected that he had not been forthright about them.[63]

Manafort stated in an internal staff memorandum that he would "remain the campaign chairman and chief strategist, providing the big-picture, long-range campaign vision".[64] However, two days later, Trump announced his acceptance of Manafort's resignation from the campaign after Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway took on senior leadership roles within that campaign.[65][66]

Upon Manafort's resignation as campaign chairman, Newt Gingrich stated, "nobody should underestimate how much Paul Manafort did to really help get this campaign to where it is right now."[67] Gingrich later added that, for the Trump administration, "It makes perfect sense for them to distance themselves from somebody who apparently didn't tell them what he was doing."[68]

In January 2019, Manafort's lawyers submitted a filing to the court in response to the allegation that Manafort had lied to investigators. Through an error in redacting, the document accidentally revealed that while he was campaign chairman, Manafort met with Konstantin Kilimnik, a likely Russian intelligence officer and an alleged operative of the "Mariupol Plan" which would separate eastern Ukraine by political means with Manafort's help.[69] The filing says Manafort gave him polling data related to the 2016 campaign and discussed a Ukrainian peace plan with him.[70][71][34]

You're not making ANY sense. FOS LIES lying to you about ^this does not mean it's true.

EVIDENCE Manafort did, trumps any CLAIM he didn't. Duh
