Exactly. Because the bill didn't pass dummy. Trump killed it.

No. Because the bill dictated that the encounters between directed to a port of entry and that CBP interview at least 1400, with no limit for the top end.

Moreover, while an order to shut the border down is in effect, Customs and Border Patrol would be required to interview a minimum of 1,400 inadmissible migrants per day at ports of entry along the Southwest border. These interviews have resulted in releasing migrants without visas or other valid entry documents into the country 95.8 percent of the time.

And here is the actual language (pg 159):

Quote

‘‘(1) IN GENERAL .—During any activation of

14 the border emergency authority under subsection

15 (b), the Secretary shall maintain the capacity to

16 process, and continue processing, under section 235

17 or 235B a minimum of 1,400 inadmissible aliens

18 each calendar day cumulatively across all southwest

19 land border ports of entry in a safe and orderly

20 process developed by the Secretary

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

Sorry dummy, but the Biden administration completely opened up the border for 3 full years by the time that bill made it to the floor for a vote, and it was defeated because it sucked.

Look at you, whiner: "TWUMPIE DEFEATED OUR BILL!"

So in other words...  you lost

You lost, bigtime.

You completely failed America for 3 years, and then you failed again. "Because Twump said some words".

Dude, FYI 1,500 new border agents isn't the solution, and the fact that you think it is just makes me laugh.

The border is there 24/7, 365 days a year. If you break that 1,500 people into three 8-hr shifts a day (12s x 4 off 4-on is about the same # of hrs per week) that means that there are 500 border agents each hour, but none on weekends.

Even if you had an extra 500 24/7, that's still only 1 agent every 6km.

So you think more agents are needed, but we shouldn’t have any more agents at all, unless it’s even more?

It's a band-aid solution. Start with:

1 Wall

2 Turn off the flashing lights that say "Illegal immigrants wanted"

3 End sanctuary cities

4 Deport illegals

Dude...common sense alludes these Libbies. They are focused on "feelings". The feelings of the illegals...the feelings of criminals...the feelings of sexual deviants. The only feelings they don't care about, are the feelings of Republicans. That includes all those screwed by Helene.

1. The wall is and always has been silly.

2. Total fiction

3. The fedgov has no control over state and local law enforcement policies--and there are sensible reasons that sanctuary cities have elected that approach.

4. Maybe, done sensibly and humanely. No sense tossing out productive and valuable members of our society.
