If the Dems can get Thomas out in Oct, it would be a HUGE election issue for them. "We need to win so that we can get a good justice on the SC! (I.e., a Democrat who will always vote along party lines, regardless of the constitution)"

Not owning the SC is really a thorn in the Dems' side. It's the only thing standing between the Dems and total control of everything right now. 

I think it is disgraceful that any person in America thinks it’s ok for a Supreme Court Justice to accept $4 million in “gifts,” especially when the combat is that Sotomayor requires that groups buy 600 returnable copies of her children’s book in return for a speaking engagement. If she makes $2 a book, that’s only a $1,200 honoraria.  Donald and Melania have frequently taken home six-figure checks for speaking.

Crow wanted Thomas to stay on the bench and PAID HANDSOMELY to "persuade" him to do that.

It's bad for a SCJ to accept gifts of that magnitude:

1. it's worse for a VP to do deals with China where his kid gets more than double that amount
2. it's worse for a POTUS to allow protests right outside SCJ's homes
3. that's not the 'combat' against Sotomayor. It's that she's almost as dumb as AOC - no joke. In my country (Canada) we offer people MAID when they're that stupid. You might not know this, but MAID calls Trudeau every day and offers him VIP treatment.

You guys claim to be so worried about covid disinformation, how scary is ^that^? We were 2 years into covid when she barfed out that stoopnugget. It's like she looked at a Rottweiler and called it a cat ffs.

That was an extremely dangerous thing to say that that time, because that was when the push to jab children for covid was happening, and we already knew that jabbing children was a huge mistake.
