my last point on this is that the amount of information on any given health topic is nearly infinite. I had shingles during summer 2020 and when I started looking around for information/remedies.. the amount of information was overwhelming. A lot of bizarre views on the topic. One video said that if I drank lemon juice.. my shingles would go away in days. Did not happen. And when you (gasp!) state that you do not know something.. the onslaught comes. BTW.. Shingles was 100 times worse than covid.

How many die from shingles? I take it you would recommend getting vaxxed for that. I'm currently on the fence.

That's what I've heard.  I did have chicken pox as a kid, so I carry the dormant virus which can be reactivated.

I worry about it a bit as I get older, but I do take extremely good care of my immune system.  **fingers crossed**

It is largely triggered by stress, lack of sleep, and such combined with your immune system getting attacked. Lets just say that if you have a break out, you will never forget it. Its like the worst sunburn that you can ever imagine, combined with the feeling that you are getting shocked everytime something touches you even in the slightest. Sunburn lasts 1 to 3 days at worst... this can last 6 weeks.

ibuprofen was only minimally effective. Only remedy that I encountered was some antivirus medication even though it was too late in my case. You are supposed to start taking the antiviral meds before you see the bumps. And then there was some overpriced ointment that supposedly was designed to dull the nerve sensations. Did not sleep much for a week. Probably TMI but whatever.. I had them on the abdomen from navel to spine on the right side.. just laying in bed felt like I was laying in boiling water.

I do a lot of natural oil blends and when friends asked, I made one from lavender, clove, ravintsara, geranium and manuka oils. Those are anti-inflammatory and analgesic oils and my friends said it did soothe and help with pain.  Baking soda and cornstarch pastes help with the itching.

I also have blends for cold sores, diaper rash, eczema and one for hemorrhoids - I get asked for those ones the most.  Lots of repeat customers, although I never charge for my blends.

Except that the sensation was not on the surface but rather an inch down. Two situations triggered this.. being in the shower or sudden exposure to cold. This persisted for 4 to 5 weeks before the bumps showed up. Along with this was an odd intermittent cold-like feeling. It came and went. Hope that helps.

Well, lets hope that no on on here ( @Goddess included) encounters this problem. In my case, it was mostly too late in my case so just toughed it out. The areas that had shingles have little to no nerve sensation.

No, not really, you questioned a few different facts about what happened, but you have not offered any explanation about what reality it is you think is going on here. 

My hunch, since you won't be courageous enough to just say it, is that you don't believe very many people died from COVID (maybe you don't believe anyone died?), you think it was all a big conspiratorial lie. 

You realize how dumb that sounds and how easily torn apart such a claim is, so you banter about with rhetorical questions loaded with lies to sow doubt.

After two people close to me got shingles, one of them on their face, I went and got the vaccine.

Wow! My mom was on a ventilator for MONTHS after her stroke and resulting pneumonia destroyed her lungs.

The vent didn't kill her, her CHOOSING to remove it did.

My friend's brother got COVID early, flying back from Africa before COVID was widely known.

He was in the ICU for 2 weeks on a ventilator, because HE COULD NOT BREATH without one.

The vent saved his life and he was one of the lucky ones who survived COVID.

Whoever is telling you that ventilators kill people is LYING.
