Kamala's Team Releases New Campaign Slogan: 'We Decline Your Request For An Interview' | Babylon Bee

The Harris campaign released the slogan after weeks of Kamala bravely hiding behind desks, water fountains, trees, phone booths, large bushes, small children, horses, microphones, and teleprompters to avoid talking directly to members of the media. They believe "We Decline Your Request For An Interview" sums up her courageous, fearless leadership style.

As hilarious as the "article" is (babylon bee for those who missed it)  the fact is this is the message that's starting to get out there at the moment.

The pressure is going to mount on harris to start to do more interviews and speak to the media.  She'll basically get away with it till the convention next week,  but after that the pressure is going to get worse.

And september is where the real fun starts.  And if trump can keep the message about her (and not about him) then she either has to come out and 'fight' and answer questions or he'll wind up defining her.

It sounds like comedy here 😂

LOL well it is of course - the "babylon bee' is a satire paper that makes up humorous articles for lols  :)   But - society's humour often reflects or plays to how people are thinking (which is what makes it funny)

lol are you seriously gonna pretend that a conservative "humour" site is part of the mainstream and not just another blob in the right wing echo chamber.

You guys keep acting like Trump today is the same guy from 2016 when it's clear he's lost his fastball, the juice is gone.

You'd have to be a complete dolt not to know it's widely read and popular across political lines.  Oh wait...  i suppose that means you wouldn't know.  :)

IT's quoted a lot, it's read a lot, and it's the message that's getting out there at the moment.

So... he was beating biden's pants off, then debated him and literally debated him entirely out of the race and he's now cowering in shame after being forced out, and according to the aggregate pollsters hes' still likely to win the election despite a sub being dropped in with the media hyping her to the high heavens.  And for her it's likely downhill starting sep 5.

LOL - seems like he has a little gas in the tank yet :)

Id like to see an interview with trump where they just ask him simple questions about what things are in the government to see what he comprehends.

For instance Id legitimately like to know if he thinks "assylum seekers" are people from insane assylums, hence his frequent nonsensical claims that counties are sending all their insane people to the US.

Does he?

He's slurring his speech. He's quite easy to get off message. And he's lashing out.

The mushy middle whom didn't want to vote for either Trump or Biden now have an out.

The aggregate polls have him down by 3 points, he's basically off the campaign trail, and all the momentum is with the other side right now and his response has been to slur and lisp his way through a disastrous one on one with  Apartheird Clyde. He's cooked.

Easily.

At the time of its sale to Dillon, The Babylon Bee was receiving 3 million page views per month.[10] In October 2020, the website said that it was receiving about 8 million visitors a month.[13] which would have been more than The Onion's traffic in the same period.[2] In January 2021, The Washington Times said that The Babylon Bee was receiving more than 20 million page views per month, had more than 20,000 paid subscribers, and had a Twitter account with more than 856,000 followers.[14] In January 2022,

25 million at it's peak.  that's pretty widely read.  And it doesn't just do conservative content.

"The Babylon Bee began by lampooning a wide range of topics including progressives, Democrats, Republicans, Christians, and Donald Trump.[16][17][13] The purpose of the site, according to its founder Adam Ford in 2016, was not just to evoke laughter, but to prompt self-reflection. "It's important to look at what we're doing, to 'examine ourselves.' "

Sorry punkin - once again you open your yap without doing research and now you look dumb again :)

The aggregate polls have him down by 3 points,

Nationally but not by state.  Sure  kamala got more support in California!  Yay! Doesn't help the dems, they were already winning there.

In the battlegrounds trump is still a hair ahead.

Once again you didn't listen to what was being said and your brain somehow translated 'winning the election' into 'winning the popular vote'.  I assume you know what the electoral college is right? Do i have to explain that to you as well? Yeash.

The problem for harris is that the next two weeks are likely her high point unless something happens. AFter the convention and as people start to pay attention in the fall she will find it harder to avoid interviews, she's got the debate which she hasn't done well at traditionaly, she's going to have to state and defend her policy, and trump is going to open up the spending taps which he hasn't been initially while he retools.

And if she stays out of the public eye this kind of critisizm will follow her more and more.

He will just ignore the questions and lie his ass off, like he did at the Black Journalists meeting. 🤮

doesn't he? He drove one of his opponents clear off of the field which has never been done before. And the other one is about neck and neck with him at what likely will be the highest point in her election cycle. Hillary was almost seven points ahead of him at this point, kamala isn't doing nearly as well against him.

Bullshit. He's the same as he's always been. He's not slurring anything and he gets off message the same as he always has. And he his lashing out the same as he always does. He's doing fine

They don't have an out. They're now locked into the same problem they had before. One undesirable or another. Kamala is a trash candidate. It's already starting to wear a gangster and this is about as good as it gets, after the convention is going to start to go downhill and she will face more scrutiny. And from the looks of things she's going to peek just slightly above trump with two full months left in the campaign. And his summer right now, people aren't paying close attention

It's hardly guaranteed for trump at this point, but he is definitely holding The High Ground at this point when you consider everything. She's going to have a hell of a fight to try and beat him and it's a fight she didn't get much time to prepare for

Trump shouldn't be spiking the football over that debate. Biden beat himself.

The argument is that two white men around 80 years old is not much of a choice at all. And not just their fitness for office current, but in the next four years.

Higher ground? LOL I guess you're just used to relentless insults and ad hominem attacks. BTW I was kind of amused and somewhat happy Trump won in 2016. But his act wears away fast. He's a real POS.

It may have started out as an equal opportunity offender, but since it was sold in 2020, it puts out exclusively pro-Trump, pro-conservative, anti-left content (with the odd sub Jeff Foxworthy tier slice of life bit thrown in).

Nope. He did not. Trump played him very well and it was widely discussed that for trump that was a very discplined and hard hitting debate. Biden didn't just go down after that, trump went up.

At the end of the day one is standing the other was wiped out.

I didn't make that contention, I said his performance as far as slurring his words and lashing out is the same as always.

But i can see why you'd want  to try to twist it to something else :)

Thats not an argument normal people make.  When you've got two different people with radically different backgrounds and track records and different policy you have choice.  Their skin colour or what's between their legs doesn't matter to most people.  But nether candidate was outrageously strong.

Now another very weak candidate has replaced a weak candidate. The choice isn't much different. What you're talking about his hype and that doesn't last long. About sep 5 that'll start to fade and there has to be substance.

Quote

Higher ground? LOL I guess you're just used to relentless insults and ad hominem attacks.

From the dems? Sure it's a constant stream. but that's really not relevant.

Trump will be in a strong position to capture the momentum going into the fall, he's still got the greater brand name, his track record is arguably more flushed out and far better than hers which she'll still have to answer for (2000 blacks and others jailed for petty drug charges etc),  he's got the money and she's very open to being 'defined' by him advert wise. his GOTV teams are locked in and ready to go, his voters are already worked up and he'll get a solid turn out, he's got a lot done that she'll still have to put together,

He's got the 'high ground". It will be an uphill battle for her. She will have a disadvantage. That doesn't mean she can't win but it will be hard.

It's better than the Trump Campaign slogan:

"Results do not matter. We will declare victory no matter of the results, just like 2020. And if that does not work, there will be a larger insurrection."

Harris can win all 50 states, and Trump will still try to rig the election. That is all he is trying to do at this point.
