This is how Kamala could win.

Actually nobody likes JD Vance. 🙃

Early Polling has the race neck and neck where it was a healthy lead for Trump before the change.

Boges are you that thick? The Dumbocrats throw Brandon under the bus and instill a coherent failure and the polls react. That will subside once America realizes Kamala and the Dumbocrats are denying her responsibility as "Border Czar".

The dumb b1tch's lies about being in charge of the border are gonna help sink the twit.

Harris' events seem positive and hopeful. Her team is also doing an excellent job trolling Trump on the Socials.

Trump seems angry and unhinged. More-so than usual.

Also JD Vance's comments about child-less people is a really bad look. He's on record saying that non-parents should have influence than parents.

I hope the Trumpers continue with this line of rhetoric. Showing their true colours.

Of course ignoring the fact that a Border deal was negotiated by the Biden administration, but Trump had it blown up because he needed the wedge issue.

At a rally in Nevada on Jan. 27 — after solidifying his position as the far and away GOP front-runner — he said his piece: “As the leader of our party, there is zero chance I will support this horrible open borders betrayal of America. I’ll fight it all the way.”

“A lot of the senators are trying to say, respectfully, they’re blaming it on me,” Trump added, followed by the 10 words that made Biden aides light up: “I say, that’s OK. Please blame it on me. Please.”

Apparently Trump is already pissed with the JD Vance pick and wants him replaced. They're in disarray.

And? Boges...I read that bill. It was a joke. It managed to set in law, a MORE porous immigration policy than they had before. America needs to close that border, and then have rational humans draft a realistic immigration bill.

Which it looks like could happen quite easily.

House Passes Resolution Condemning Kamala Harris’s ‘Failure’ as ‘Border Czar’ with Support from Six Democrats

Yeah - i don't think that anyone needed the house to tell them she failed :)

And this is going to be a thing for her.  The border is important to a lot of people.

Of course not, and it was mainly Republicans that passed the resolution. But these little things are all part of the battle.

For sure.  It all adds up to give an impression and there's a lot of those kinds of 'red flags' out there that people will pick up on

The border issue in most cases is one of pure emotion for folks. Xenophobia.. in its simplest form. Really dive into the numbers and it really does not validate either side. One.. data shows that the tax revenues do not generally increase enough to offset the increase in social service costs. Two.. crime does not generally rise at a level above that of the expected (increases in population correlate with increased reported crime) . However, in areas where the illegal immigrant population has led to an increase in the population of a place overall (Las vegas, NV and El Paso, TX as examples).. the reported crime rate has not been all that different on a per capita rate than before they came. I always come at this from the viewpoint of logistics and resources. More people equals more resources needed. In places like West Texas, Southern Arizona, Southern California which are very hot and arid..those resources can be tapped out.

emotional or not, it's a very real issue for the people themselves. And it's one that Kamala is going to have a problem addressing. She will need to have an excellent strategy for that or she will lose a lot of support in some very key pivotal states

The border is of particular importance in TX, NM, AZ, CA, NV, and LA. Of those, the only one that is not diehard partisan is maybe NV. Even then, the locals in Las vegas where most of the immigration occurs are not that worked up about it. They end up being the ones working in the not-so-glorious jobs in hotels and restaurants. Its ok because it pumps up the job numbers and keeps the consumption spending hamster wheel moving.

I thought like you did till i saw some of the polls and other info - but it would seem that it's a bigger deal than you're letting on or i thought.  I remember posting how surprised i was on the forum here.

I shall have to dig around. I know from working with politicians and business leaders at my current job that illegal immigration is not all that big of an issue here. The major issues (and one that can't be fixed by politicians in the short term) are housing cost and water supply.
